Yep I also think so as well! After Bai Jue fused with Qingmu he developped traits of Qingmu altho it is subtle u can clearly see it if u focused on the details especially his facial expressions or even the fact that he's more soft and smiles more when he talks with Tianqi and also when he abruptly visited Yuanqi and Tianqi caught him red handed the way Bai Jue acted was so typical of Qingmu lol it was so funny 😂 To me he used his "ice" face only towards his enemies and to fool Houchi/Shanggu. There was great character development after he fused with Qingmu and during the 3rd arc haha. But yep BaiJue has show Qingmu's traits he wasnt the "ice cube" as compared to when he was in God realm. I didnt know Bai Jue was also called Hei Jue?? that's new to me lol learning something new everyday 😅

I actually did the opposite lol bcuz I knew ALP was gonna be an emotional roller coaster I saved Falling into your smile to watch last since it is more lighthearted and cheerful 😅😂 I totally get what u mean tho, but trust me you will warm up to the female lead as u keep watching you won't regret it. She also has great chemistry with xukai. She's very charming and lovely you will like her haha

Yep Xukai's answer hit the nail perfectly and that's also why I second that too bcuz I understand both Qingmu and Bai Jue. Qingmu is more unrestrained and free to express what he thinks easily in comparison to Bai Jue who is the opposite. I personally find it's sooo hard to make a choice but since Bai Jue is the complete and original version and that Qingmu is an extension of him, at the end of the day they're both the same person so I'd go with Bai Jue lol

Yes I also second that, fl rly had the courage to film with no makeup on that's mad respect there bcuz most actress wouldn't even do that but the fact that she did and only cared for producing a great result for the drama just shows how serious, dedicated and hardworking of an actress she is! At the end of the day haters know nothing but to create unnecessary drama!

I srsly hope we can have a season 2 of Tianqi and Yuemi! Maybe this is why we didn't see her having a comeback towards the end of the drama for a reason??? omg if it is then I hope they do release one just like EL and ELOD the secondary leads also had a lot of buzz and ELOD was produced! Hopefully it'll happen for ALP too!

Yes this was actually the first xianxia drama I watched where I didn't feel bored in every ep! It was very well executed and the storyline had a good pacing not draggy nor unnecessary filling-in in comparison to other xianxia dramas I've watched ALP didn't disappoint in this area. Thus, just like you every ep kept me entertained and invested which in the end made me super attached to some characters too. The OST was also top-notched! It was phenomenal and added depth and emotions to its respective scenes, truly magnificent!
