I’m liking this drama. The pace is good.. The characters are fun. And it’s pretty straightforward, not to difficult to follow. Of course the detective side of the story even when the title presupposes it, actually is secondary to the romance but overall quite an entertaining watch.
I just started watching this and refuse to be weighed down by how the title does not really fit the drama. So far I am liking the plot. I’m also impressed by the effects and the martial arts in it. I just hope all 66 episodes will be worth the watch.
Why are FLs in Chinese dramas often thought of as annoying? This is probably the fourth time I’m seeing comments like that in a thread ?. I’m guessing it has something to do with the voice ?.
One thing I noticed in this drama is most of the characters are long winded. They tend to recap their entire life story before anything remotely interesting happens in the scene. Honestly it was a bit tiresome to watch at times. I got through it though...phew.
I watched this a while back but never got around to including it in my list here. It is definitely one of the better dramas I’ve seen. Love the story, the acting, and the heartwarming feeling it leaves you after seeing it. I think I’d go and watch this again.
I just watched ep 6 and I feel like the whole thing is just going round and round. I’m also not digging the new hurdle aka Rion. I don’t even understand where extreme loathing for Harumi-San is coming from. It’s becoming redundant for me.
Too bad, I think the interaction between the couple is cute and interesting in itself.
I read through the comments before I started watching so I wasn’t getting my hopes up. I’m still early into it but I think this is not half-bad. I just hope it doesn’t lose steam towards the end as some of the comments have pointed out.
I wished she just stayed the way she was. She had more character. When she lost weight she became less interesting. When are we ever going to learn that contentment, happiness, and acceptance do not depend on poundage alone?
I look forward to seeing more of this drama. From the start it seems so heartwarming. Mitsuki Takahata is a favorite of mine. Then throw Takumi Kitamura in there and I am completely sold.
I’m watching this for two reasons: 1) Ryoko Fujino is one of my favorite young actresses and 2) the drama is set in Kyoto, one of my favorite places in Japan. Can’t pass this one up.
Second time I’m seeing Yuki Yamada play a teacher in year, but this one looks more serious. I have high hopes. I really think he’s one of the more versatile actors out there.
I can’t say this is not a ripoff of “Devil Wears Prada” in some ways but based on the first episode, this drama promises to be quite entertaining. Looking forward how it goes.
The story is not something we haven’t seen before but it helps there were more than enough funny moments in this that kept me watching. I applaud the older support actors. They carried this drama well.
The moment I saw the preview of this I knew it was going to be interesting. Thai dramas have a way of keeping you hooked with all the twists and turns in the story. The characters are always lovable you can’t help but cheer them on. I don’t even mind that each episode is almost as long as a full length film. Not to mention the number of episodes. Then again they are always packed with juicy plots and subplots that keep you wanting more. So far this one is shaping up to be just that too.
Too bad, I think the interaction between the couple is cute and interesting in itself.
