This had me going from happy to sad to happy to sad, from beginning to end. It was well-acted, story well-told. Apart from the obvious green screen beach shots that distracted me a bit, I enjoyed it.
This had me laughing a lot. All the characters were absurd but can’t help but love them. The episodes were so short only had a few scenes each time but it worked. Longer episodes might have made the characters annoying.
I liked this. But as with most Chinese coming-of-age dramas, a lot of it could have been skipped and we still get the entire picture. I don't know why they want to stretch stories to 30+ episodes when most of it frankly, are unnecessary. Having said that, it's still an ok watch. Not much originality in the story arc but I guess it's better acted than other similar dramas out there.
I loved it. This is one of the best teen rom-com movies I’ve seen lately. The story is so original. The characters so relatable. I wanted more of it after it ended. I won’t be surprised if this will become a classic. I know I’d go back to it over and over and never get tired.
I’m not sure if I’d be happy for them or be grossed out about the whole thing. The story tried so hard to rationalize romantic feelings between step siblings but I still have issues with it. Then again if the whole point of this is find enjoyment in an otherwise uncomfortable situation, I think it’s done its job.
I just started watching, 3 episodes in to be exact. I’m still getting used to the characters and the story. I’m putting aside any judgment for now, although so far it’s been intriguing.
I thought the story could have been told in far less episodes. There were so many things there that weren’t necessary. I skipped through more scenes than what I actually watched and still got the complete picture.
The best part for me is the ML’s laugh. It was something so genuine and natural. Every time I heard it, it made my viewing experience more bearable. I had to go through some clips of the cast’s interview to confirm it’s actually the actor’s real voice.
What I like about Japanese movies, particularly period movies is that they are very straightforward. There are very few subplots if at all, and yet its simplicity sells. This was nice.
There are so many medical dramas out there and at times I find them redundant. This one however has a unique storyline for every episode that’s gripping and makes you want to re-examine your life somehow. I will be so sad to see it end.
Might I add that Sawamura-san does doctor really well.
This made me hungry. It made me want to run to the nearest meat shop and binge on steak! If movies are meant to have a visceral effect on you, it did its job splendidly.
There's nothing special about the story. It's just the usual coming of age drama that follows the lives of classmates - becoming friends - ending up as couples. Having said that, there is something that makes me want to watch it from beginning to end.
There were moments that had me in stiches and still moments that made me cringe but I just kept coming back. I wouldn't know if this will be one of those that I'd remember down the road but it's still a good watch.
I am liking this a lot. I’ve been bouncing from one drama to another lately looking for something fresh. I’m glad I stumbled upon this. The story is light and simple but engaging. The characters are lovable and relatable. But the best part is the acting. No annoying FLs or overindulging MLs.
It’s still early in the show but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for this one. I hope it stays consistent until the end.
