This thread, with the comments on the sub team and how they’re playing hard-to-get, and us viewers being kept in the dark about whether the subbed episodes will be available or not, make for a far more interesting drama than the show itself 😆.

Not a fan of reality TV but this… I’m glad I took a chance and watched it. This has a unique concept and the “characters” so refreshing. Seriously so much better than some live action shojo I’ve seen. Getting excited for the second season…

Everything in this drama looks so good, from the actors to the food 😊. Definitely a good watch.

I am on episode 4 and I am at my wits end with the women in this drama. All are catty, malicious gossips with a penchant for bickering and violence. Please, does it get any better somehow?

I just started watching this. Episode 1 was a lot to digest and honestly the character are a bit too loud for my liking, but I’m still here. There is something about it that’s keeping me curious.

I enjoyed that. The end end was just enough to tie everything together.

The more I watch the more I feel bad for Ren. I don’t think he and Gorya should be together but geez the guy needs a girl of his own. Could there be anyone more deserving of a happy ending?

This felt so rushed. I didn’t really have time to connect with the characters.

Binge watched season 1. Leave it to the Japanese to take something so nondescript like table tennis and turn it into a thrilling sci-fi like sports drama with depth. I’m actually looking forward to season 2.

I was pleasantly entertained. It’s cliche but I thought it was good.

Wishing there’s an alternate F4 universe where Ren gets the girl.

Wasn’t so sure how they were going to spin yet another version of this drama, but five episodes in and I’m thinking it’s the best one so far. I also like the FL over the other versions. Her reactions are more natural and not over the top. Even the ML in this one seems to have a deeper character arch. Liking it…

I just started watching this. I have to say, I can totally get behind it. It’s one of those that seems perfect for binge watching.

I enjoyed it. I like watching Kento Yamazaki’s work. He has the knack for choosing quirky stories with unconventional characters.

I think I too have amnesia because I don’t even remember why I started watching this and why I keep coming back when I know it’s getting more and more frustrating to watch.

I’m pleasantly surprised with this version. I think this is going to be the best among the bunch.

I still love this show but I felt underwhelmed by eps 13-15. I really hope the last two episodes bring it. It’s too good for it to end on a free fall.

Ep 12 by far is the most dramatic and majestic. Love how the complex relationship between grandfather and grandson was depicted. The anguish coupled with love and respect was pulsating. This drama has strong, well-developed characters you can’t help but empathize even with the “evil” ones.
