Wait.... in just one second the chicken guy made me cry cause it looked so sincere but then I saw it kind of looked…
I loved that part. They made it kind of obvious that there was something off with him, but he did look so sincere that the laughter sneaking in was perfect.
To some of you who still misunderstand that San liked Won romantically after seeing the whole episodes: Yoona…
If that's what they were trying to convey they did a poor job of it in my opinion. She just had no chemistry with Rin so that romance didn't work for me. She tried harder in the last episodes, and there were some forced moments, like her watching him sleep, but for people who liked each other they seemed pretty cold. And don't blame Won, because even when he was not around they were cold.
You know it's bad when the actress has to explain who she liked lol
UGH this drama! Why can't I quit you!!! lol! I'm actually glad it's almost over, especially after this last episode.
Rin was not a good friend all along. Sorry, I'm not buying it. Rin got greedy, which is what the teacher challenged him about, and what the schemers were banking on. If San didn't stay he would have left with her ASAP, which is a jerk move because Won would not have done the same. I think that's the irony of what the Queen said. He ended up being as harmful to Won as she thought he would be.
Do I think he loves Won, of course, and the last scene was slightly emotional because of that. I'm not convinced he's dead either, just hurt. But Rin definitely betrayed him, didn't even consider letting him in on his thoughts or intentions at all, and he should have known better after they have been friends all of these years. Dude lost his mother and everyone around him has betrayed him, or abandoned him, and all Rin could do is lecture him. I would have sliced him too. Sorry not sorry.
Also, San is still useless. Still looking at both of them like a deer in headlights. Does she like both, neither, who knows... I wish they would both get over her.
And lastly, are we just supposed to be cool that the murderer with the tattoo likes her friend? Really? He's like this sociopath murderer with a romantic side?
I read the summary of the novel even though I know that they changed some parts and added there own twist and…
I was hesitant to read this, but now I'm glad I did. I can almost stop watching now, because if after all these episodes I still can't sense that San cares for Rin, then something is way off. Unlike in Empress Ki, where it was clear she was torn and why, and that she loved both men in different ways. So basically Yoon ah is terrible at conveying that, or the story has to have changed. I wasn't even hoping for a happy ending with Won, just and engaging story, and somehow this one went off the rails.
I think i'll put this on hold now and maybe come back to it when it's done.
I think I am officially growing tired of this triangle, and I hope something progresses next week to keep my interest.…
I don't mind complicated if it's done well. It's a pretty standard format for a love triangle anyway. Maybe after watching Empress ki, and Queen for 7 Days, the premise and performances just feel a little weak in comparison, especially Yoona. I'm still interested enough to give it a chance, but they are definitely playing off of a love triangle as much as they are playing off of their friendship. Without the love triangle there is literally no story, so who she's with and who she wants to be with is a huge part of what will push the story forward. Looking shocked and tearing up for 20 more episodes isn't gonna cut it, so I'm hoping the next episodes at least push this plot forward.
I think I am officially growing tired of this triangle, and I hope something progresses next week to keep my interest. She's been giving them the same "shocked" look when either shows interest for 20 episodes now... maybe that's the extent of Yoona's acting, but It's getting old.
I'm still team Won, but maybe he should end up with Rin instead.
Sorry I ship Rin and Won more than Rin and San. I have zero second lead syndrome on this, even though they seem…
I disagree. Won & San keep meeting and seem to have banter and joking, and a relationship at least. Rin just keeps saving her all mysterious like, but away from the 3 of them he is standoffish and awkward.
Won is actually not being clingy at all, he's just being direct, and responsible. There's no bad guys here, I'm not saying Rin is bad for stalking her, but they just have no chemistry to me. He kinda just looks at her with a longing look, and she looks back with a curious look. That's not the makings of a great romance to me, and if that's the main couple, I'm probably going to get bored really quickly.

Rin stalked her from the beginning. Literally. She met the prince first and he just watched. He may be just watching to stay out of the way, but he's definitely watching.
Sorry I ship Rin and Won more than Rin and San. I have zero second lead syndrome on this, even though they seem to want to force the idea on me. I understand San's dilemma, but Rin seems more like a stalker than a real love interest.
There are still a lot more episodes, so I'm hoping Rin comes more out of his guarded shell soon.
Honestly I'm hoping for the prince to have a bigger plan we're not aware of yet. If he truly loves her…
I think the Prince isn't using her as much as he's using this as an excuse to get what he wants, which is her, and he sees it as benefitting them both. I think they also set up his character as someone who thinks the prophecy is bs, and also thinks clinging to his father's last wish is bs, he's trying to separate himself from those things that create paranoia and make people act irrationally. I think he's still bitter that the paranoia is what ruined his relationship with his brother.
Why I think he hasn't included her in his plan is maybe that to include her is more dangerous than her not knowing. That would be my thought. If he tells her she becomes an accomplice. If she knows nothing she can cut ties if she needs to. He tried to avoid her initially, but he couldn't, so I think he's just trying to have the best of both worlds... which is what makes everyone nervous.
Plus all 3 main characters are impulsive, which makes things much worse.
Of course we know this will not end well, but he doesn't. I honestly think that he thinks they are destined to be together so it will just all work out. I also think he thinks that the less she is involved the more protected she is.
I feel so bad for Chae Kyung, she genuinely loves Yeok but also somehow cares for the king even if it's not…
I really sympathize with the king though. I think it's horrible what he is doing, but he has such a long history of being cast aside and betrayed by his own family that he feels like he's losing the one person he knew he could count on. That's what makes it so sad to me. They are all pretty tragic characters and I think they will eventually all ruin each other in a way. I'm scared to see what he will make Chae Kyung do, and we already know where this is all heading, so all we can do is watch the train wreck.

This show is a mess, yet I can't look away.
