Ok but in so many series with happy ending time is not valued at all. You have time jumps with years, when they meet again and end up together. Here there is no chance of an ending up together in this life. In my Opinion they value the love. and thats why i call it bitter sweet. In Romeo and Juliett, they died without any good site. Here he died with knowing there will be a future Jin Woo who comes in the live of a future Ji hoon.

They are in a time loop, the moment when booth are saved is the moment Jae woo vanished from his life. The kid in this timeline is on longer kept in the timeloop so he wont see the next jin hoo to fall in love with him. thats why he decided to get stabbed again, cause only fi the time loop goes on, their love will be eternal.

Kang decided to sacrifice his life for the chance of loving shin. he understands that there is a time loop and saving his own life would end it and Shin will disappear from his life. And the young shin in his time will never travel back and there love comes to an End. So he decided to protect shin, and keep the time loop going so their love will be forever.

i started a rewatch. and because i know the whole story of Hill Ter i see how bad this was written. Hill vanished for a Year for long time, He see on the freshman List, that Ter joined the same university and doing nothing. They met by chance and Hill acts as there was never a prolbem. And so do Ter.They meet now multiple times and no Talk, Ter is silence about his anger and Hill seems to see no reason to tell Ter, what happened, why he dident contact him again.
