wait... how many years is the time skip, i am confused? shen mo said 4 years since the contract. he spent 3 years as he contract lover, so i thought it's been 1 year since they haven't seen each other, but the girl in the studio who called him boss said it's been 4 years after he called her a veteran employee.
If my partner had brought in an ex to save a project we were working on together and said ex showed up with a matching watch that my partner has been so secretive about, I, too, would have flipped out. Sorry, but this is torture at this point. 3 exes one after another...

i'm enjoying this more than i thought i would! i do love some good interpersonal drama, so i'm all sat, but feeling a little sad for miyata. i think that final ex will be the toughest one to get over.
you're right (in the sense that iwanaga should be allowed to have had past relationship w/o those being a weight in his current relationship) but also, in the same time, i think it's not unrealistic that miyata feels like that. i think it's not very many people who'd be unbothered and confident if they end up running into their partner's exes in super short succession and they're all (perceived) to be more successful. esp if it's a person prone to catastrophising.
this is quickly becoming one of my fav JBLs! i found a lot of recent BLs kind of flop / become a tad boring towards the last few episodes, but not this one. the development is fantastic! i love how mature they are, yet how much they still got to learn about each other. i loved their cute trip and how takoi is becoming more and more comfortable being open about their relationship. i also loved how shiono boiled over seeing takoi accept affection from another man so easily! he seems to be self conscious about how their relationship started, so this probably hit exactly where it hurts. super well done! can’t wait for next ep and hope the manga gets an official EN translation soon!
isn't it because the 1st love is so special that the subsequent romances are just trying to find that first love…
you’re right, i do agree, but for some reason, i’m still not quite sold on it, the way it’s portrayed in this series at least. however, i still do quite enjoy it!
I didn't enjoy the second half as much... it completely switched gears and suddenly moved on to a completely different plot. If they wanted to do that, they should have focused more on the couple in the first half, but they spent a lot of time on the side characters instead. Them getting together was a little anticlimactic, too... Also, why was the only kiss the drunk one? Come on..
ngl, those two episodes were a tad boring. i don't like the direction it took. it feels like a roundabout way to delay proper communication. i do like the grandma, but idk if this family subplot was needed.
