i'm really not vibing with the pere x chris pairing :( also, alan x jeff is not as good as in s1, i expected more of them, so i kind of wish the focus was more on the other pairings.
apart from that, though, this show is soo addictive!! i love the drama, the high stakes and everything. apart from small faults here and there, it's a great series, and pooh and pavel are KILLING it! if you're on the fence about watching, don't be. it will have you glued to your seat!
i read some pretty poor reviews of this show, so i kept putting it off, but i'm so glad i finally started it. it's incredibly entertaining!! it really makes me pay attention, and there is no boring moment. i have not put the show on 1.5x speed even once, and that says enough for me :D plus, i like the main couple -- they have chemistry. pavel's acting is really good!
this show would have been better with a bit more of a serious plot and just... more plot, overall. a bit like how jack and joker was, for example. i would have loved to get to know the characters a bit more before we get thrown into the whole 'kant is trying to get bison' and 'style is trying to get fadel' thing, which was hard to watch at times. i do love the premise, though! just could have used some more complex/clever writing and a bit of a more different genre (that isn't a romcom). if you're in for the romance, though, you'll love it!
Not sure why people are complaining about the lack of romance. It has enough, but in a very meaningful, natural, slow-burning way, complementing the plot of two broken people coming together beautifully.
This drama is overall very good; feels a lot higher quality than your average BL, and the acting is fantastic. My only thing is that all the heists felt too formulaic and could have been a tad more clever, but other than that, it's very good! Stressed me out many times, lmao, emotions were running high a lot!
Anyway, if you're looking for a regular BL packed full of romance and don't mind a lack of plot and good writing, perhaps this one is not for you. However, if you want an excellent, action-packed plot with a big dose of social commentary, don't hesitate to watch!
i read some of the negative comments about ep 10, so i thought i was prepared, but i guess i wasn't prepared enough. it was, in fact, bs. all those meaningful things they were saying to each other completely lost meaning.
this is hands down one of the best BLs i've seen! so, so touching, i loved everything about it, and the leads had great chemistry. i can't believe this was jin yun's first acting gig! he did phenomenal.
I’m enjoying this, but Jinta is really irritating me. The demented over-acting grates.
though it's pretty accurate to his character, i am also not a fan of this style of acting, so i watched all scenes of the secondary couple at x2 speed 🫣

as someone who's both a fan of fourth and gemini and also a big fan of the manga (and the jpn series), i really enjoyed the thai adaptation! so it really does depend on your taste and perception. i also recommend starting with the japanese one, but don't listen to all the negative comments about the thai version -- it was super cute and very watchable, but i do have to agree with the product placements being a tad annoying.
