dongbaek is better with dennis, i said what i said
i was looking for another comment like that - hard agree. we still don't know the full backstory but i'm super intrigued by the whole dongbaek x dennis situation.
I had the same concerns but I guess his "look" would be outdated for 22 years later? IDK lol. He's still riding…
yea, was thinking the same. that they're imagining what this character would have looked like if he had access to a full life in 2022 or sth? however, i'm not the biggest fan of that. of if they committed to that, it would have been nice to commit fully e.g. have a life (people who recognise him, place that he lives in). they only picked one thing that anchors him and that's a job. :D
i would have preferred if they just did the good old "no connection to this timeline" time-jump but i'll try not to judge until we learn more. maybe they'll write this particular storyline nicely. :)
does anyone else feel like chimon has more of a bully look and perth more of a nerdy one? :D idk why i thought if the roles were reversed, it would have matched better. looking forward to this nonetheless! i hope they release it in the first half of 2023.
the scene where the MC travels to the future was... so bad. 😠also, i don't get why his looks/name/etc had to change. and if that was the case, then commit all the way and give him a place to live. it was this mid-way situation between time travel and parallel universes x time travel.
on the other side, tho.. the actor who plays hai yi is fiiiine. 🔥
bro this drama is so GOOD 😠i think what really sets it apart is how you can actually FEEL the characters falling in love, with every action, every moment together and every sentence, it's just.. palpable. so sweet and touching. fantastic acting!
really looking forward to this (as i looooved cutie pie). i kinda wish we get something where the main couple has such good communication skills that they resolve challenges TOGETHER rather than being sad separately and jumping to major negative conclusions but it is what it is. i guess they'd be more tears before they're securely together.
also - is anyone else disappointed they didn't get to meet in mum's world yet? i was kind of anticipating it since they lead us to believe they saw each other at the bar at first...
ok now that it's completed: this wasn't as bad as some people say - it started off strong but fell through in the last 2-3 eps. they should have had two more eps to let the plot develop and breathe.
three things made the quality decline significantly: - the confession scene. i don't think i need to elaborate here. - the way it overlapped with the accident scene w/o letting the two MCs date first and develop their relationship. this kind of lessened the impact - their love wasn't as believable. - seunghyun's acting was very unreliable - sometimes good, sometimes not. unfortunately, the 'not' parts were when he really had to deliver, emotionally, so idk.
what i liked: - the first few eps were great. it had a strong start imo. fun and unassuming. - minyeong and muyeoung - i think both actors did great playing these characters. ko chanbin is hella cute, i'd love to see him in something else as well.
still waiting for the day korea makes a BL that's at least half as good as semantic error...
Just finished watching and I rushed here to make sure it wasn’t just me! Oh, so there was another actor before?…
Yes, the previous actor for the role of Mu Yeong was Nam Yoonsung. The drama was fully shot even, so they had to re-shoot once they removed him from the production. Their budget had probably taken a hit but it was a good decision to re-shoot, considering all. Plus, on the bright side, the new actor is sooo fine, I'm glad we got to see him in this role.
