Ep. 11 was about Noey changing himself for the better and expressing his love for Thi who passively lets him.…
there is a backstory we're not yet privy to, based on the preview for the next ep. it seems noey's friend told him to let thi go, so he was probably planning this for a while, rather than being a spur of the moment decision after the phone rang. at least that's how i read his actions.
not sure why thi is such a pushover with his parents.. they want this and they want that. what do YOU want smh...
i guess.... it's just difficult to watch it unfold. not sure what they're gonna do with ep 12 - in an ideal world, thi will come to his senses and come back to bkk but i somehow doubt that will happen. i just hope no time skips!!
What was that ending?! Not just the ending, this episode on the whole was all over the place. Thi is still spineless…
it actually really annoyed me he didn't say anything to his parents when they were talking so bad about Noey and being so controlling of his life... "my parents want me to go to Chiang Mai" - what do YOU want though??
The current one up for fast track is the happy ending, the other episode 11, I saw the preview for after the fast…
ugh, i don't like that we get to watch the happy ending first. i feel like it's going to be super unsatisfying to watch the unhappy as the last thing you see from this drama tbh.
Ep 10 was heartbreaking... Imagine falling in love with someone who suddenly dies and you don't get closure because you don't know what happened and there is no way for you to find out. But the person whom you fell in love with is right there within reach but it's not quite the same person. This one happens to your sister's love interest and they get freaking engaged! I really felt for Mum..
I fully believe this is the best GMMTV series so far. Every episode is getting better and better. Just.. the sweetest, cutest, purest characters ever. 💕 The serotonin boost every Friday is unreal.
omg, i actually loved the ending! overall, this was so beautifully shot, the actors did a fantastic job and i thought the plot was interesting to follow. ngl, i lowkey liked the whole denis x dongbaek thing going on, it could have gone really nicely if denis didn't turn a bit too murdery & out of control. nonetheless, a nice, short BL! :)
Yup. To compare other BLs, the "matureness" you meant (which probably meant the spicy scenes kind of?) Is maintained…
no, i actually didn't mean the spicy scenes - i don't mind if there is absolutely no spice in the drama if it's done well and the acting is good enough to convince me they actually like each other haha. but i pretty much agree in what you said next - it's balanced, no anime-like exaggerated reactions and no over-acting. sometimes, in jpn BL, they infantilise the characters a lot in how they act but this is not the case here.
this drama is much better than what i'd think if i only read the comment section. i like that it's mature and quite down to earth. not sure how to say it exactly but it's not exaggerated like some other jpn BLs.
