all FACTS. no, seriously tho, this could have been a lot better with better directive. also, considering every second comment under here is about disliking van and farm, i feel like less episodes and no second couple would have made this a lot better. alas, we know they'll also have a happy ending.

glad i'm not the only one! i also felt like the whole 'we'll be official once the case closes' repeats too much to the point it's basically the core of their scenes when it's not about investigating. it'd be nice if instead they build the relationship (there is still so much they can learn about each other!), so there's more tension and yearning, but it feels like they left this behind and instead, it became a lil repetitive + it feels like juvenile at time idk.
oddly enough, the relationship development is not doing it for me. even though i love both pooh and pavel, the development is just not very exciting to me (i do appreciate the sweetness and the care between them, though). however, plot-wise, this is one of the best BLs this year!! the case is sooo interesting!
omg same i thought i was the only one lol i really hate when ppl get veneers when they have perfectly fine teeth…
right! he had perfect teeth already. his smile was so charming and they fit his face so nicely. too bad so many actors feel like they have to change this about themselves. i find most veneers very unnatural and distracting.
i know it's formulaic, but i have to say, this show does not need a secondary couple... if van and farm were just friends, it would have been better. there's plenty going on with the main couple that seems to grow in intensity, so i always end up kind of bored when the show shifts to the secondary love plot. plus the dynamic ain't it.
This is such a happy pill show, I couldn't stop smiling! Didn't expect such a premise to turn into a masterpiece like that, but here we are. Absolutely adored the heck out of this series.
Kudos to the actors, too. I think this is one of the best acted BLs to come out of Japan so far (with a really good kiss, too!!)
I'm normally used to tuning out the product placements, but they went a bit too heavy-handed in the last episode. I wish it were a bit more spaced out, as it kind of takes me out of the scene a bit...
Other than that, the plot keeps serving!! They should make more plotty shows like this. I'm totally eating it up!
this episode was SO GOOD, i'm in awe! they really took such an overused trope/setting and turned it into something fantastic and fresh with a lovely cast and A+ acting! the confession scene was one of the best on JBL imho <3

i have to say, it does have horror-typical jump scares, so it can be quite spooky at times, but they're few and far between, blended with plenty of non-scary narrative elements.

seconding the other response -- i also think it's better! pavel is fantastic either way, he's very expressive and he's killing it at this role. pooh has improved imo! the rest of the cast is also doing a great job.
every episode, i am holding my breath abt when king will decide to have thup take the blame for everything. when thup picked up that doll without gloves, i kept thinking it's somehow going to go back to him eventually :( (even though the hair might be his or something). i really have 0 trust in king.
but anyway, this series is sooo freaking good so far! i am bouncing off the walls waiting for the next eps!!
