I was ready to fight with you for YaiMangkorn kiss until I came across the next line! I agree, yai nine kiss was…
right? for someone who did not want to be in that situation, yai definitely withstood that for a long long time. even if we say he was too shocked to react, it was still unnecessary long. i was lowkey hoping that he’d push him away and mangkorn will see but alas. the ending, however, fixed that! i’m really looking forward to ep 7.
bro that was the longest ass kiss ever the whole neighbourhood had the time to come by and see them tf 💀. i did laundry, washed the dishes and fed the cats and they were still kissing. (talking about nine and yai in front of that resto)
but nonetheless, i find this series oddly enjoyable - bad plot and all.
decided to rewatch the first part (ep 1 to 7) and i can say with certainty that they completely botched the friendship between rain and sky in part 2 (which i thought was very nice element to the series). i really really wish part 2 was written better...
ummm... being turned on does not make you any less capable of consent. this is not like being drunk or high, so…
i know you didn't say that? what i was pointing out is that being turned on does not suddenly make you incapable of a coherent thought. does that mean that as long as you're turned on you'll follow whomever into their room lol? clearly not. you can be turned on and still reject anyone (hell, you can even reject someone that you have actual feelings for). you can be turned on and still not want to engage in any sexual activity with another person. what i said was bizarre was your logic of "win asked for consent AFTER team was already turned on hence why it's predatory". i've seen quite a lot of odd takes on the internet but this one is a first.
where can i watch episode 2 plz? other then kisskh and its also not on youtube? plz send link if available
iqiyi (but it's region-locked), wabisabi's official YT acct (although i personally don't see the eps anymore, so i'm assuming it's also region-locked or sth), or other websites like kisskh
Am I the only one who finds Win somewhat predatory? Yes, there was clear consent in the first episode but that…
ummm... being turned on does not make you any less capable of consent. this is not like being drunk or high, so i found this a very weird take and very far from what 'predatory' means. yes, power dynamics (club vice-captain/first year team member) can have an implication, so i understand that part of the argument, but the rest is slightly bizarre.
i was fully expecting fluff but this series is like.. hot hot. boun and prem are doing a fantastic job, the tension is palpable. i also really appreciate that we see some dean and pharm from time to time!
(are the roots scene old footage from UWMA and the no-roots scene new footage?)
unpopular opinion... I don't like sky lol I don't hate him but I don't like him either. I also prefer the main…
same here! tbh, i used to like sky in the first part but he seemed like a different person in the second part of the series. the actor seemed to be much stronger in the funny/sassy parts, rather than the emotional/sad ones, and idk, overall, the pouty/whiny thing did not suit this character at all. uhh. anyway, wish these were two separate seasons of one show, so i can rate them differently. :D
Okay, I thought about it for a bit and I reached the conclusion that I would have enjoyed Sky & Pai's story significantly more if it didn't touch on such serious topics like trauma and **** bc, honestly, MAME does not write these things well at all. Peat did fantastic in all the lighthearted, funny, sassy scenes in part 1, so I believe if the show kept that mood in the second part, I would have liked it more. Maybe if he had an overall shitty but not traumatising past relationship, it would have worked better into the narrative and we could have seen the actor excel more in the role. That's just me though.
The actor who plays Gun is like.. hot hot (apart from his voice).
But anyway - now that I have finished the series, not sure how to rate it. I enjoyed Phayu & Rain's story but not so much Pai & Sky's. The first couple had better chemistry, writing and story. The way they communicated with each other was honestly one of the best and healthiest ways I've encountered in BL. Slightly questionable beginning but the rest of the story was super sweet, they're really good together.
And as far as Pai & Sky's story goes... ya girl was BORED. I was no longer looking forward to the series each week, the chemistry was lacking and I found Pai's character lowkey annoying in how much he didn't take no for an answer. Peat was also not great in the emotional/sad scenes but performed amazingly in the sassy ones, so there's that. They also squeezed way too much in the last ep and oversimplified trauma and healing. I really did not like that...
I also got slightly annoyed at how dumb Rain was portrayed in the second half. He always was a bit naive but they really went to town in p2. I was also hoping for more Rain Sky friendship but we got completely the opposite. I was under the impression they're good friends in p1 but p2 kinda ruined that lol.
So yeah.. how do I rate this when I really liked only half of the show? :D
imo the show should've stopped after ep 7, 2nd half ruined the drama
100% agree. not sure how to rate it to be honest bc i don't wanna bring the rating down for rain and phayu's sake but man, the 2nd half kinda ruined it for me :/
This is one of the most boring last episodes of a (good) series I've ever seen. Can't believe we watched 30 mins of funeral/post-funeral scenes and the 10 minutes of more crying and reconciliations with characters that came out of the blue (it would have been better if the father was mentioned more in previous episodes bc I ended up not caring at all).
I know this series followed the book closely, however, I genuinely believe it would have been better w/o this last plotline of the mom dying or at least put the focus on different scenes and takeaways. Anyway, the last 10 mins were enjoyable but that's about it. Nonetheless, I really loved all the previous episodes and the series in general. Earth and Santa's acting was great, and Cake and Eiw's story was cute.
I felt so bad for Mamoru when his fan got a larger line than him... he didn't even get one person lining. :( I feel like the next ep would be a boiling point for him.
