that's a reality for many south asian families though.
as a south asian myself. i would like to tell it's a culture difference. and not that black and white. the times are changing, and with it the dynamics are changing in our culture too. dont tell us what to tell our mothers. thank you.

If there exists a mother like that anywhere on this planet, I hope she gets slapped 9 ways to sunday by her daughter…
that's a reality for many south asian families though.

it was refreshing though to see that MY had a rock on her hand lol she's not our normal FL who won't fight! lol
YES YES YES! and even her character arc, when she let's go of the rock. because she realizes that she finally has someone she can depend upon, who would protect her... so she doesn't need to destruct anymore just to protect herself.... I LOVED THAT SCENE!

one cliche that i'll never get bored of : female lead about to get slapped and the male lead stepping in between her and the "slapper".
and, MAN it was even better here, cuz we finally complete the circle and he reaches the conclusion and realization towards his feelings. it was such a satisfaction!!!

There are always some fascinating stuff about the production in the beginning of dramas that tend to be phased…
i agree but i also like how they are still creative with their small details like how the viewer age restrictions kept going up in ep 7 when she answered she wants to go to a motel and eat him ... small things like that always make me feel so happy, cuz it's so easy yet so creative

I had lots of friends in university who were in serious relationships with 27 year olds when they were 19, which…
the difference is, in FMIYM, both the characters are adults. while, as far as i know, here, the FL is a high-schooler.
