The problem with some of the additions to the list is the ONLY WANT TO WATCH ONE TIME requirement. Someone added Coffee Prince, and I swear I have watched this multiple times and still do not find it old. Rich Man with Suho would make the list in my opinion.
I have been a big fan of his from his debut with EXO, normally I follow idols from the dramas to their singing groups, but it was just the opposite with Kyung Soo. I love his voice, the soulful quality of some of his vocals give me chills. EXO is my favorite group and have been since they debuted. Great Article and all true. PS the reason he glares alot is because he has bad eyesight and he is trying to see...LOL
Is it a happy ending ? Does it have those stupid fake kisses ? Thank u
LOL, yes it is a happy ending. Yes, they do have a lot of the Thai kisses/sniffs is actually what they are. Thai's traditionally sniff smell /rub faces with their loved ones. Open mouth kisses were saved for the bedroom only . I thought it was real weird at first until I noticed that I constantly rubbed my face and sniffed my new grandson and remember doing the same with my children. I think it must be one of these primal urges left over from our pasts. However, I will admit that these are some hot dang really hot face rubbing going on. LOL Watch it you will enjoy it if you keep an open mind...and nose....chuckle chuckle
Although the female lead made me want to knock some sense into her for being such a selfish and stubborn brat. On the upside the Lakorn was full of female screamers. James carried the show. His tenderness and steadfast character made the lakorn great. He was also quite seductive without any show of violence which is so often in lakorns. Great Lakorn. HEA
I rate for myself, not so much for others. I rate the drama based on whether I will want to re watch in the future. I also have a different standard for the age and country. Older dramas a lot of time have wonderful dialog but substandard film quality, so in this case I rate on the dialog. While Thai lakorns are a beast all of their own and I rate them against each other, because until recently the film quality was just so so, pre HD, and the society has been so heavily censored for so many years I have a hard time fairly rating against k dramas in particular. So, I will admit to looking at the rating, but not as closely as I would look at book ratings, for the most part I think drama watchers can be more critical than your average reader. I have also found over the years that I must have bad taste, because with a few exceptions, if the critics all liked the show, I will hate it. LOL
I was shocked and very upset. I have been a subscriber there for nine years and have saved quite a lot of shows there that I planned on rewatching when things drag. Besides the loss of a legal and safe website the trickle down will be felt on Netflix and Hulu too as a lot of the shows that they air have Dramafever subs.
I think this will now be my favorite modern lakorn. There was quite a bit of mature content and innuendos, which I enjoyed. Yes, I noticed the cliched aspects but that is just the format for lakorns. There were no forced sex scenes or even forced foreplay. Just a show long romance. Our hero was special all the way through. Our female was too much of a tease in my opinion...but I liked it.
I am an ardent fan of all the people who work on these shows so that others who do not speak the original language can watch and enjoy them. Thank you for the gift of your time and talent for our community.
I watched it, but had to plow my way through it. I hate women who allow themselves to be a door mat, which may influence why I disliked this show. I would NEVER re watch this show and considering how easy I am to please that is saying something.
I really like it. I waiting to start but since it on youtube it is easy to binge.
I DO really like it. I also watch a lot of daily dramas...some I like more than others. This one I believe will be in the top 10. I did start at episode 5 and didn't seem to miss much. I usually pick out a couple or two that interest me in these longer ones and fast forward through some of the other action. Usually, the mama drama is what I pass up. Those women need some Valium, life is too short to be that hipped up all the time. The last really long one I liked as much as this one is All Kinds of Daughter in Laws.
