That is the New Trend 90% of Dramas get hate. But The shows are not this Bad as they Say..
Everyone watches dramas for entertainment. Even if a drama isn't fun personally, there's still people who will watch one because they are bored and vent about all that's wrong in the drama - it is still some form of entertainment. I don't personally know anyone who does this, but I know people who "hate read," that is, read something no matter how bad it is just so they can laugh and rant at how bad it is. They have a right to watch and complain even if they hate it.
I understand why people enjoy watching this. I also enjoy watching this drama. The reason why many people dislike…
The ML's character is SUPPOSED to be stone-faced, that could be the reason. I read the webnovel and that is how he was described. He's a cold ML, but unlike her once they get together he becomes more expressive.
I started watching this yesterday and i'm also in epi 4. lot of silence and staring is because its the nature…
I don't mind it if it only happens a few times, but it happens so much. I do think the male lead is cute, but when they'd go silent and just stare at each other for so long without speaking, several times, to the point that it got awkward for ME to watch, I just had to skip.
I feel so sad for Hyung Tae. Imagine being the only one the hospital can contact regarding Seo Ri, and being the…
I agree too. At least we see later that she still meets him (before the time skip near the end) so I hope they're still friends, but the way the character is treated in this drama pissed me off. Like why have him there at all if they were going to treat him like that 🥺
The beginning of this drama is more frustrating than fun, ep 13 especially had me so irritated, but the last moments of ep 14 and ep 15-16 make me not regret watching this drama. I'm still glad I skipped a lot but at least near the end I loved it more than it frustrated me.
It's been 10 eps, and I just realized she never tried to search for the friend she asked for while in the hospital,…
AND IT REALLY TOOK HER 13 EPS TO GOOGLE SEARCH THE ACCIDENT AND HER FRIEND WHEN SHE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST PEOPLE THE FL ASKED ABOUT WHEN SHE WOKE UP?!?!?!?!
It's been 10 eps, and I just realized she never tried to search for the friend she asked for while in the hospital,…
After waiting so long for them to see each other, they met at ep 13. We don't even see how exactly, she's walking down a hallway with Chan when the doc comes running around the corner, calling her name. How did he know it was her? And the way he gets treated is just... Like I know he didn't have any hope of a relationship with her even when they were teens, but they could have done so much better with his character, so what the hell is this?
It's been 10 eps, and I just realized she never tried to search for the friend she asked for while in the hospital, even when she has access to the internet. Or maybe I skipped so much I missed that part.
I hate it when I know stuff and have to watch characters fumble around pointlessly when things could just get fixed by talking. Only on ep 3, and the FL is really stretching my limit. I don't like overly perky heroines, and while it's cute on her younger self, on her adult self it really isn't. I know her character setting has her as an air head, but it's hard to feel sorry for her - she knows 13 years have passed, yet she sneaks out of the hospital with no plan, and without thinking that things would have changed, in 13 YEARS! Just the fact that she ran from the hospital without receiving a clean bill of health makes me want to smack her. Exactly how many months has it been since she started receiving physical therapy to move again? How did she not feal weak wandering around the way she did and without a proper meal? Maybe she's still in the denial stage, but I'm having a hard time immersing into the story because of her.
Getting through this is so hard (and my lagging WiFi doesn't help.) I've stopped so many times in between watching, I managed to watch two other kdramas, half of a cdrama (13 eps) and clips to several other dramas.
I know a lot of people are comparing it to The Guest, and I did learn about Priest from the comments of that drama, but I won't even make that comparison since it's been nearly a week (and I saw all those other dramas) long enough for the details not to be so fresh that I'd compare. To me, it just feels like Priest doesn't have a proper direction. There are a bunch of plot twists later in the series, but the first half makes it a hard watch. I'm someone who doesn't mind "new case every episode" dramas, but this feels so random.
Edit: ok, one extra point in this drama so favor. The FL apologizes for being annoying later on ðŸ˜
Paused at ep 13. I saw a fanmade vid on the couple's history years ago and thought it was cute. A day ago I accidentally came across the drama on YouTube and decided to watch it. (I had no idea the lead was the same guy from Addicted until I read it in the comments.)
I can see the emotions between the leads developing, but I'm not sure I want to stick around for 28 episodes. Especially when I feel so bad for the second lead. He's obviously liked her the whole time, but no matter how sweet he is he won't get the girl (at least not the lead girl. I'd feel less sorry if he ended up with her friend.)
I hate the lazy writing that sometimes pops up in Kdramas. In episode 9 Eom Yun Hwa poisons Kim Dan and try to…
You'd need physical evidence, if it's just words criminals can talk their way out of it with a good lawyer. She could say it was an accident, that she slipped, and the cop was lying.

Drama let me down.

Overall it's a very cliche Chinese drama.
I love the series, I wish there could be a third season.
