Can someone help, because I am incredibly confused about something. Everyone is convinced that Haram is half reaper…
I'll try to explain this how I made sense of it. She might not be able to see her dad precisely because he's her father. Or, perhaps he'd molded completely to the human body (Like 444 who she couldn't see) so could the human husband have had something to do with the previous 444 reaper? He gets no actual background as a character, only as the FL's dad. Also, how she's half ripper, it's icky to think about but her dad was basically a walking corpse, she's obviously not the only half ripper ever born so I guess in-story, when a ripper possesses a body, they change it to the point of being able to pass on ripper traits to the kids. The kid moogang killed isn't the only time reapers don't appear at time of death, he can see them so when they didn't show any reapers when moogang killed at the end of the series, I don't think any were present, the old granny reaper also killed people and took over their bodies without getting caught so there are obviously exceptions (it could just be for the reaper kills, I can't remember if any reapers were shown when FL's dad killed.) FL's dad was killed by a human, he might have had shadows because it was a human kill and no one expected a reaper soul to come out. It does make me wonder if there are souls that don't get caught by rippers and what happens to them. The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is Leo, but we don't get a lot of background on the guy who possessed his body either so could it be a case like moogang and her dad? How and why? I honestly don't know, the writers just never mentioned a lot of stuff, but I didn't see THAT many holes.
While i know you can't always cast exact ages to correlate for adults but Song Seung Heon who played mo gang ,…
I don't think they're supposed to be THAT young? Maybe he just has the most mature looks. Since the main story is 20 years later from when they're shown as kids. He was 13 so he should be 33.
I rewatched this for the first time in years, I'd forgotten quite a bit so I had plenty of surprises. But I remember exactly how frustrating that ending was. Did they really have to use fake make up to age the characters? They could've just casted two random old people. I can appreciate that they tried to force a happy ending to this mess, but that ending was absolutely terrible I feel like I wasted 18 hours (a lot less tbh since I skipped through this) only for the last ten minutes or so to make it look like none of it even happened. Also, I didn't mind the FL the first time I think, but I just noticed all the times she was annoying this rewatch.
Wanted to give this a try but couldn't stand the music. It's not bad, just the kind of stuff that puts me to sleep. On the other hand, the JP one has rock music which is a plus cuz I love it. I really wanted to watch it for the ml though. He stole my heart in Secretly Greatly and I haven't seen him in anything else since.
I know why people hate amnesia tropes in dramas but I personally love it. So I started around ep 15 and surprised myself with how much I liked this. I went back to the beginning. I skipped a lot, but honestly it's not nearly as frustrating as I expected from reading the comments, I'm used to telenovelas with even wilder plots.
From ep 10 I skipped a lot to the end. I love one OST from this drama, and the progression of the relationship until the MCs start pulling the noble idiocy thing. That part is just frustrating since I only watched this for the cute couple dynamics.
I surprisingly didn't cry in this drama, even though I'm a crier. Could be because I skipped so much. Rather than sad, I just found it depressing in parts.
The actress looked familiar to me, particularly around the mouth and I just figured out she reminds me of Bonnie from vampire diaries. From my memory alone FL's smile looks similar to Bonnie's.
