Title Pinocchio
Ugh I thought this drama was ok but the part that really broke me was the brothers. When I go back to it, it's for them, not the whole drama.

Also, this is just my theory but I don't think FL was ever in love with Holo. She loved the human Nan-Do (who always managed to offend her even when he had the best of intentions) the moments that made her think she was falling in love with Holo were all Nan-Do - when he talked to her at the park, and when he saved her. Because they shared the same face and voice she mistook him for Holo.

Besides the FL herself realizes later when she sees how others treat him that the way she treated him was wrong so wtf are you on about??? I didn't say anything about the actress's ability, I was talking about the actions of the characters.

Um no, I just happen to have this thing called empathy, even if it's a natural reaction by SOME humans, while he is an Android he looks and acts like a human being, it's not about him having the face of an actor I like (I only came to like him after his performance here anyway) every time Nam Shin3 was treated as a "thing" made me angry, not just by the FL but by every other character. Because even if they know he's not, he LOOKS and ACTS like a human being. And yet, multiple characters call him disgusting and treat him like he's an expensive toy that can be controlled, used, or discarded at their will, this doesn't sit well with me especially with the story trying to push the idea that he has a will of his own even if he doesn't get upset (much). Not just in this story, I've seen this done in other robot dramas and it leaves me just as disgusted as it did here

Don't assume when you don't know anything about me, if the comment seems to be fangirling it's because this is my 5th rewatch. My feelings haven't changed from when I first saw this.

I didn't notice this before because I'd watched them too far apart, but I'm sure the sister (2nd female lead with her own loveline) is the 2nd FL of Biscuit Teacher and Star Candy (which stars Gong Yoo, and is about 20 years old) XD

Other than that, it's my first rewatch and I still think they could have done better with the FL but overall its not a bad drama.

Title My Holo Love
I'm only at ep3 so i dont know anything of the plot yet, but one thing thats bothering me is the face blindness…
It's been shown in the show that she does have some tricks, but people change clothes every day, change styles often, and in an office there would be plenty of people with similar styles. Plus, if she hasn't tried to put in too much effort into staring at them every day to try and find their distinct difference, then even after years it's hard to remember. And I read this in an article by someone with face blindness. It's hard to remember things like a person's voice and tone and other characteristics as well if you can't recognize them by looks. Like, your mind just wipes it from from your memory or something. It was an interesting article actually. The woman in question went to high school with the same people and even when she graduated 4 years later she still found it hard to tell who was who.

is this like i'm not a robot except instead of a robot it's an AI?
Technically the robot in THAT drama was also an AI - but he was an AI robot with physical form. The AI in this one only has a hologram.

true, ML doesn't deserve anyone but his own solitude. Making FL miserable from the start was very shameful of…
And exactly how did he do that? SHE was the one ready to run off with some really expensive tech that did not belong to her because she "fell in love with" a hologram and felt bad for it. If he hadn't faked his death he'd have had grounds to take legal action against her when she pulled that BS.

Do you think it was maybe because of how the writer wrote the ML, or how the actor portrayed the character?
The actor isn't that bad, but I guess it depends on the drama? I watched him in two other dramas before this when he was 2nd ML, so I was happy seeing him with a lead role for once. I'd recommend them but can't remember the names.

Title Are You Human? Spoiler
SPOILER ALERT!!!!So I just paused the final episode, about 20 minutes in.....And I do not understand any of the…
We've known since he woke up that human Shin was unhinged, but seeing how he was treated by grandfather, that makes sense (kid was a victim of abuse and has been shown to act out violently on multiple occasions.) Why would robot Shin blame a human? He's not built like that plus she died because she was protecting him so of course he blames himself, no one else does (except for the public being led astray by a "witness" but it makes for a good story when he'd only recently made a splash as a hero, so I'm not surprised it was spread so quickly). Human Shin does take his blame toward the end of the episode if you really paused at the beginning - he comforts the robot by telling him he was the one at fault for her death. He blames the robot at first because he blamed everything on the robot, since he thought his mom abandoned him to live a hellish life with his grandpa when she built a lookalike robot for companionship. I don't think he'd have been as mad if the robot didn't have his face. And btw human Nam Shin didn't even know it was a possibility for the Killswitch to cause an explosion. Director Seo lied and said the robot went out of control, Nam Shin never trusted that the robot was safe (even though HE was the direct cause of any harmful actions caused by Shin3) so he bought it, and I'm sure he blamed himself even then for leaving his mom behind with the robot after hitting the Killswitch. I buy his change of attitude only because he was 1)so devastated at his mom's death and 2) probably humbled when he realized he allied with the man who killed his mom (and his dad, he knew Director Seo tried to kill him but I'm sure he just planned to use him until he could get rid of him later, and knew Seo probably had the exact same thoughts. He didn't trust him at all, but knew he'd be useful as the a human again Nam Shin3.)

Young Hoon - he never wanted the company, he knows Nam Shin best so he wants him to go back to how he was before. I knew the moment it was announced the company belonged to him that he probably wouldn't be keeping it for long. Grandpa (as much as I hate him) said it best, Young Hoon knows his place, he'd rather stay by Nam Shin's side than take his position at the company.

Robot Shin - in his own way he cared for his mom, and it's in his rules to care for and help humans. He goes looking for human shin to relay mom's last words. You're forcing human logic on an Android, why would he NOT help human Shin despite everything when it's been shown that he doesn't get upset (except in special cases like when people he cares for are in danger. Then he acts in a way that can be said to be "upset.") Since they were mom's last words and in his own way he feels bad about her death, of course he'd want her human son to hear what she had to say.

Why would anyone blame human Shin for mom's death. No one knows the details of what happened, and when they do he's dealing with grief over the loss of his mom. David feels bad for him (since he loved the mom) and Young Hoon as well since Shin is his friend (and he knows deep, like really deep down, Shin does have a good heart. They're like brothers more than friends imo.) FL DOES place blame on human Shin tho because she didn't see him giving into grief, and she's never liked him.

I hope this covers everything you're curious about.

Right like i don't get it. I think these people are too use to stoic stupid FLs and hate that So Bong has a personality
It's not because she has a personality - it's because she has a shitty personality in the beginning. She realizes on her own that the things she was doing were bad. If she can acknowledge it herself, people watching can, too.

Honestly I'm just happy Nam Shin3 is still alive and happy, and human Nam Shin got his head out of his ass. The last two episodes were so sad I would have taken any kind of ending, but the story didn't go into any kind of detail how different and difficult it's going to be for a robot and a human to be in a relationship. I wish there were more episodes so we can see how the world adjusts to his existence, and I wish he'd kept at least SOME of his "superpowers". He says at the end most of them are gone but we don't know what's gone and what's left.

As for David, the only human who didn't disappoint, yes he was in an agreement with the chairman but he didn't know it at first, he just wanted to get the money so it's more like he was tricked by the chairman into entering that agreement. But of all the humans, he was the only one from the beginning to treat Nam Shin3 with the same respect you would to another human (I don't know about before the story but I believe it when he says he loves him like his own son.)

This is the drama that made me fall for Seo Kang-Joon completely. I'd seen him as a second lead in cheese in the trap and cunning single lady before this, but his role as Nam Shin3 (and human Nam Shin toward the end) was done so well <3

Watching it again and every human but David is a disappointment, up to a point (I only like the FL's dad because he beats her up, she totally deserves it, hehe). Mom disappointed me big time, even with her turnaround in the end. And I could never like the FL again or get into the romance because I've seen human-robot romance done better than this (with a less annoying FL. When she called him disgusting and treated him like a thing, I wanted to smack her, but I guess that's what a lot of humans would be like. They wouldn't see him as a person but as an expensive toy. But she'd already done some irredeemable things and she just kept adding on top of it.) Unlike some I guess, I never expected her to fall for human Nam Shin, but I didn't want her and Shin 3 ending up together because their relationship is not properly fleshed out especially with one of them being an Android. She does get better as an FL later which is why I still think the ending is okay.

Spoilers!!

Rewatching again. I skimmed the comments and my name is there a year ago for 1st watch and rewatch haha. I don't know how many times this is, but going through this again, while there are times other characters and the ML do something they should be condemned for, even though I thought they were cute as a couple at first the FL is actually so annoying in some parts.

Like the plot progresses because she tries to be nosy. Starting from the beginning when she keeps wandering around the hospital, then keeps looking for the doctor even when he tries to politely turn her away, tries to chase after a tiger because it's more important she prove it was real than, you know, worry that the tiger might attack because it's injured. Then sneaking into the ML's home and getting spoiled about the tiger king. I don't know if I can call her inconsistent? But she's definitely a busybody. And as a private person who absolutely hates it when people get into my things and my business, they're the kind of characters I don't like.

Even the doc's late girlfriend. She hears tiger noises on the balcony... and instead of running away like a normal person, she goes towards said tiger noises alone. These two ladies are the cliche horror flick characters who get themselves killed very quickly.

To be fair twilight itself is not original, a lot of pre-existing tropes were just put into the story and it is very popular, the only unique thing I saw was the vampires sparkling.

Title Love in Time
Rewatching for the 3rd or 4th time. I don't mind the bits of English thrown in. Filipino dramas do it, the odd…
The English came out of nowhere and often sounded awkward. I can't even remember if it made sense in context. Yes English has a lot of foreign words, but when I watch a drama in English, characters don't just randomly start speaking in another language, unless someone in the cast only speaks in that foreign language. I can't remember since I didn't rewatch this again, but all the English could have been removed and it wouldn't have made any difference to the story. This is the only Cantonese drama I've ever watched so I don't know if it's normal for Cantonese dramas, but in other asian dramas I've watched, there is a context for why someone speaks a foreign language, or it's just one or two words in English not entire lines (often this results in double lines, where the characters say something in English then translate it to the original language of the drama, it's redundant, again I can't remember if that's what happened in this drama). From what I remember and for it to bother me enough that I left a comment, that's not what happened here. There was no context so it came off as the characters wanting to sound "cool" by speaking a foreign language only it was so awkward it was distracting.
