Apologies if I misunderstood this comment but is it really right to say she only believes she's ugly, implying it's all just in her head? It's a fact that other people bullied her for her appearance. Which means a part of society does find her ugly. But unfortunately she internalised the negativity.

Well, I just can't imagine that a movie theater release means a high-quality video can be uploaded to the internet so fast. Unless you want to see a bad, shaky recording of it. XD I think we have to wait for the DVD to come out first so the uploader can rip the movie from it but I don't know when the DVD's release date will be.

I don't think it will be added so fast because release only means it's been released in the theaters, not on DVD where you can rip the movie from, right?

Does anyone know if a native Chinese speaker translated this drama for Dramafever? I felt like some translations (very minor though) were off or maybe it's just me.

I don't know about China being homophobic in general but their government and SARFT certainly are. There are many Chinese people who complain about censorship of television shows, being angry or disappointed that SARFT cuts away scenes or forbids certain themes to be shown. It's really disheartening and also discourages more creativity in the entertainment industry.

Yeah, she looks Thai or maybe Uyghur to me.
