I'm not too far into this drama yet but will the 2nd ML have any character development?

Put positively, he's a lovable oaf, but sometimes he can be a little annoying. He reminds me of all the female characters who are hated for having the same traits as him, e.g. good-hearted but dumb, stubborn, and cares too much about what his crush thinks of him.

He/she just made a random assumption without proof. We'll know if there are kissing scenes once this show airs.

I totally agree. When I heard there were originally more episodes, I thought, "thank god they shortened the length, I don't want to sit through such a long show." But now I think it's not enough.

A director's cut or something would be great.

After you watch the bed scene, you need to look up the uncut version of it. It's a bit longer, with even more kissing.

It's not, in my opinion. It looks more like an amateur college film project than a "properly filmed" drama the way we know it.

Thanks for posting! I remember this scene being longer in the trailer and was a bit disappointed to see it shortened in the actual episode.

I think there were 2 times they had misunderstandings and both only lasted 1-3 episodes. One happens after episode 10, the second time happens around episode 18? Somebody please correct me if I'm wrong.
But the story is pretty fast-paced since there are only 24 episodes and nothing felt too dragged out in my opinion.

The FL is adorable and lovable to me but honestly, I also had the same thought as you; that it almost seems like a love story between a grown man and a baby-like woman which is kind of questionable the longer I thought about it, haha.

However, as the story went on, I could accept it because of certain things another user mentioned. In the overall context, it's not as gross as it first seems, at least in my opinion. Have you watched the trailers? They also hint that she won't stay baby-like forever.

No offense, but this drama is a rom-com that parodies common tropes so I don't know what you expected. I mean, you wouldn't watch an action movie and point out there's so much action, lol.

Her being thirsty is the point, though. The game she suddenly finds herself in literally has lascivious/lustful in the title. She also lacks a dating life, so it makes sense why she drools over hot guys.

Maybe they didn't like the ending or they have really high standards. As someone who doesn't watch a lot of Korean dramas, I find this one very good and well-written.

I disagree. Most machine subs are really bad and make the story difficult to understand, especially when it's a historical or fantasy drama with lots of complicated words. It also really decreases the chance that a good subber or subbing team revises the bad machine subs. (Do you know the drama Love Better Than Immortality? Its official subs are hardly understandable and don't do the drama any justice, but I doubt the subs will be edited and improved one day. Sigh.)

That's why I'm glad this drama got picked up by a good subber. I think they deserve to get paid for their efforts!

Your observations about the hate towards female leads are so true. Many viewers tend to be very critical with the female leads but lenient towards male leads. And the hate usually comes from a female watcher, too. It really makes me wonder why.
If the female lead makes a dumb mistake or isn't "perfect" in their eyes, she gets called annoying, weak, useless and more. But male leads are not judged as strongly even if they have lots of flaws, make mistakes and aren't perfect.

I usually don't pay attention to ratings, but I think the low rating could be because the story is hard to follow if you don't watch it from the beginning on. This means viewers who weren't there from the start have no incentive to watch it and the ratings can't get higher.

Hope you'll stick with this show because it's pretty good. The FL can be too emotional but I'd cut her some slack, lol. I find that us viewers are overly critical with female characters sometimes.
