It's somehow fascinating how the writer is nailing it in make audience feel pity and to like the antagonists.…
True. Every time I start to feel the littlest bit of sympathy for Seo-jin, I have to remind myself how she treated MSA, that she let JDT treat the poor girl like crap too, and let her own father die miserably in the rain.
Idk why but I don't believe that HYC is BRN father, bc he dated yoonhee during high school but Seojin in college.…
This makes the most sense for now. For their children to be in the same year group, it means HYC must have married Seojin and gotten her pregnant right after breaking up with OYH (who's already pregnant with BRN).
I hope this matter is clarified in a future episode.
I know it's a makjang drama but I still thought the theory about Shim Su-ryeon having a twin sister was too far-fetched because she never alluded to having siblings in the 1st season I think.
Looks like the newest episode proved me wrong, lol.
This drama is currently being re-aired and running in the background while I go about my day so there are a few things I didn't catch since there are no subtitles on TV. Can anyone explain them for me, please?
1. What happened to LY and the female intern? How did their storyline end? 2. Why did ZZ reject the guy who pursued her?
I'd like to thank the user who suggested to not take this drama too seriously and turn off the brain!
Went in without any expectations and really enjoyed it. It was super entertaining because everything and everyone was so dramatic and over the top. I honestly loved to hate the characters and no second of the plot was boring. Now I'm off to watch the 2nd season.
I am on eps 3 and honestly, the most spoiled brat so far is Bae Ro Na. Never seen an more annoying character.
It's a pity she's written that way. Because compared to everyone else, her actions aren't that bad (she's not a bully, con artist or cheater like the other characters) but her annoying emotional teenager behaviour makes viewers have a special kind of hate for her.
On my opinion i dont think rona has done something that bad to warrant the hate on here . I am not saying she…
Agreed. I'm halfway through the drama and don't get the hate comments I've seen about Bae Rona.
Maybe she'll become worse later on but for now she's just a bratty and impulsive teenager. Yes, it's frustrating and annoying to watch. But in a world where adults are cruel to children, cheat on their partners and do a lot of dubious things, I find it hard to hate a girl who throws temper tantrums in front of her mother, a behaviour that is typical for many young people.
I cannot believe how much hate this is already getting by Chinese netizens. They legit are saying, without shame,…
She has already done many historical costume dramas, though. Any idea why some people are suddenly complaining? Also, I thought she was popular in China. Hopefully it's just a minority of loud netizens whose opinions don't matter in the bigger picture.
In my country we say, "When it is for me it is an Anus and when it is the others it is an asshole" (Excuse the…
I think this happens a lot in Asian media-related communities because Asian TV shows, especially Korean, attract an audience from all around the world. K-dramas have fans from the Americas, Europe, Southeast Asia, Africa and more. People from many different countries come together and their native language isn't always English. This can lead to miscommunication and perhaps cultural differences when it comes to understanding criticism.
And also, generally speaking, fans of all kinds of media (not just Asian media) have always been overprotective of their favourite shows, movies, actors etc. and they can't stand seeing negative comments about them.
Is this drama in the same world with Extraordinary you?
No, they are two separate stories and worlds. I think the guest appearance by Dan-oh and Baek-kyung from Extraordinary You is just a comedy thing (because the two dramas share the same PD as another person said) and not meant to be taken seriously.
I hope this matter is clarified in a future episode.
