Maybe what they want to show, the overall plot and everything else won't fit if they did that, and considering it happens later why would they include too many fillers? This isn't 20+ episodes long so there isn't enough time to do that. Also they are still building it up, every episode there is a scene that shows what they did before, etc from the past so atp you're just complaining coz you want to.
