I'm convinced the director is an OffGun fan or has atleast watched their shows coz coincidentally(or maybe not) it has both the songs used in pivotal moments in their series Not Me( Titanic by Harlow ) and Burnout Syndrome(Back to You by Cayson renshaw). I'm not complaining coz they're both bangers but its a fun fact I just discovered so thought to share it
Good luck, friend. I didn't like it much (and didn't finish it), mostly because I knew who the pairing is IRL…
The MC's situation is unfortunately similar to what a lot of us face and have faced, I FELT that struggle. But he also doesn't have his boundaries set right, which is a character flaw. The way he strings both men along is not okay, but again realistic from what I see irl so that's another plus for me over watching someone with perfect morals
Woo! Reasonable writing! This is solid. What else is good on Youku?
Unfortunately if you're looking for BLs I think its their first proper one. There's another show airing called Kiss or Kill, and it has similar vibes so check that one out if you want more mafia/thriller vibes.

Maybe I'm liking it coz its kinda realistic(to me). The main leads are all red flags, and I get why people like the 2nd ML more, he's definitely more likeable than the rest. Tbh I first saw him in Mr.Kill and that one's so popular but I didn't plan to watch it. After seeing this I might do! But what I specifically like about that one is that they didn't try to turn him into a nice guy(atleast in all the eps I watched) and I'm interested in seeing how it all plays out.
I was watching Burnout Syndrome and omg I felt that the intro song of this series and its concept matched it a lot more. Like I found some of what I was looking for in this one, in that show. Its really a pleasant surprise and reminded me again of why this show is a major disappointment, especially when you come in with high expectations. Why did they feel the need to turn BJ into your next door boyfie? I've got no idea. This choice just made his character lose the edge we wanted and came looking for, atleast from the pilot. Anyways the parallels with this one made me enjoy BS more so thanks for that ig.
Full disclosure, I'm here after finishing A Winter Sun, which was transformational. So maybe if the bar wasnt…
Lol ikr. Worse is they already had all the material they needed to make this a masterpiece but they decided to turn BJ into not so red flag and made all the other characters dumber and more annoying
I watched ep9 late.I was really excited to see jet's storyline but...bruh.I missed the brutality of Big Jane when…
If you think about it logically the drama won't exist so atp there's no use going there I'm also questioning myself who the red flag really is in the series? Coz BJ doesn't seem like one now
That's the real Fang Chi and Gao zhun..its revealed that they were the real people and Zhen and Zhang were characters..atleast…
Its in the novel, their real story was adapted by their friend Tong zhi and made into this novel Fang was reading, in which Zhen and Zhang are the main characters. Atleast this is what the drama shows.
The series itself is good, and I really like the main couple. They fit together perfectly, like a pair of gloves.…
YES! I haven't read the book and I was already disappointed with the way the story was going since ep 8 so I can't imagine how the novel readers would be feeling. They had hyped up this series since forever and I'll admit that's one of the reasons my expectations were high from the start, which was a mistake. It didn't help that the theme song is SO good and I expected smth along the lines of its lyrics to play out in the actual series, and it does go like that in the novel! So all the material was there for them to make this a masterpiece or atleast a really good drama but they all became missed opportunities. Its really awful coz the actors fit the image of the characters too, especially B'Jane. Overall it felt like the intensity from the pilot was missing in the actual series.
Im convinced Lil Jane likes that struggle love because wtf is thisThe audacity to be so mad at JP for helping…
Jett is a product of his upbringing, so the parents have to take responsibility. Still they didn't make him suffer enough, and he has already made mistakes twice so its likely that he won't change in the long run if he doesn't get enough of the consequences.
This is such a gen alpha drama omg 😭 seeing their school life, which is ik not like how normal schools operate,…
Same, its been 4 for me but idk it has changed so much lmao, also they sometimes feel like rich kids with their little problems 😭 and they're all influencers on the side
I'm also questioning myself who the red flag really is in the series? Coz BJ doesn't seem like one now
