So in their very first livestream most of the comments were about how yellowish they look and how yellow their teeth is lol. Which I thought was bullshit but yk chinese are obsessed with people who look 'as pale as snow' so this is definitely something they can't digest. What's funny is that they looked perfectly fine to me and only looked 'yellow' coz of the lighting they had in the background

Yup that's in the novel..but since in the series they don't show all of that its likely that the director's ending might be different(what we do see). Now we can speculate about it but yeah there are a lot of possibilities based on how you see it ..

About Dean and Moth..I thought Dean already admitted he like Moth but his feelings don't seem as much compared to what Moth already feels. His 'friends' are also shitty and if I was in that group I'd leave and ghost everyone asap. Hopefully smth along that line happens later on in the series. Or maybe his friends finally start seeing him in a different light but realistically that doesn't seem possible..

So if you look at the end credits at the end of the last episode you'll see Fang and Gao discussing the novel Fang was reading, which was written by their friend Tong Zhi. In that novel they are not the centre and Zhen and Zhang are the main characters. So they were not real and the story we saw from their perspective was actually the contents of that novel.

There might be some planned lines/stuff they do in the livestreams but its not 100% fake, so attacking him based on that is weird and a form of harassment. They were already getting negative comments from the fans since their very first livestreams about their appearances and this seems like yet another thing that these 'fans' will cling to as cause for bashing one or both of them again.
