to her defense she did think that the party was small (just Hu Ping and a few others) and she immediately got nervous about him when she saw how big the party was. She even suggested they go home.

i think the trailer deliberately tricks you into thinking he went to Yao Yao (just that ep 23 trailer tricked me into think QS might have said she still has feelings for her ex). But i'm 99% sure he went to QS. he said you will be fine because he knew she got help from TJH.

there should be an option to know the ending first for people who want to know before watching drama lol

our leads love each other i wouldn't worry about that. unfortunately they will be in situations where there are lots of room for misunderstanding until maybe before the last ep lol. i started this drama for comfort after being stressed by kdrama and now i'm stressed by it as well lol

i think his expression was more of "what do you expect? ofc he came"

in the car scene with the investigator in trailer, he told her TJH called YH and YH also came. QS was in shock and said "Yang Hua also came?" she must know it looks bad with TJH also there so she came home pretending to not how YH also came and scolding him for not being worried about her to which he calmly and sadly replied "I'm sure you're fine" because he saw TJH there. I'm sure they talk it out afterwards though because the next ep they look cozy with each other again until QS gets jealous over Yao Yao.

i see that too. the trailers are so drama bait. for example trailer for ep 23, it looks like we will have a more emotionally complicated answer from QS regarding whether she still has feelings for her ex. In the actual ep, it's pretty simple she just said "no not at all"

YH doesn't seem like a finance guy to me I've never met a finance guy that is unmotivated by money or profits like that. he's more of a nerdy math/science or humanities major guy tbh.

it's funny that QS "made up" how brilliant her husband is, working abroad for the best foreign financial company, making lots of money, holding very high and important position only to find out that all of those are true. And she wouldn't have found out if his past didn't resurface via her work social circle because he was so humble and had no intention of telling her about how brilliant he actually is. Girl literally won a husband lottery without knowing it lol.

yeah i saw WF wants to break up with him in one of the next eps trailers. I think he would make amends with her tho bc i do think he also loves her. there will probably be a hiccup in their relationship but not a complete break up. During this hiccup tho, TJH will try to meet QS (I saw a scene in trailer when it looks like he cried to her about his breakup with WF and she tried to comfort him when he force hugged her to YH's witness, which (maybe partly) leads to YH and QS's separation).

QS needs to learn that sometimes when you're being too ambitions you'd hurt yourself and your loved ones as well in the process...

I think it's QS's biggest flaw (everyone knows that she can't help it when being tempted with ambitious work projects -- and opportunistic ppl like her boss take advantage of it) which she needs to learn to overcome. I think we will see her doing this after she quits her job at Cheng & Hui.

She does love YH though & probably would have suppressed her ambition if she knew he would meet his nemesis at the party. I think she knows it would be bad (hence her nervousness) but she didn't expect it would be THAT bad and her ambition went too far.

that is a valid criticism i think? QS needs to wake up and stop letting both herself and YH be used by her boss.

yes QS may owe TJH a last conversation to give him closure but she does not owe WF anything in her past relationship with TJH. Also it's TJH who is the one with remaining feelings for QS and keeps initiating awkward situations that can result in misunderstanding for QS, so WF should take it all out on TJH instead of constantly coming for QS and YH.

I don't get why she did not give him closure when they broke up given how communicative she is. Like she's so communicative in her relationship with YH.

QS needs to have a conversation with TJH tbh.
