i think at the core, TJH and YH are pretty similar in a sense that they both want to fight for justice and they are both intelligent and good at their fields, just the ways they showcase that talents and intelligence are different. TJH cares more about climbing the socially accepted success ladder and respects authority more while YH does not care about that or what others think of him, which is actually refreshing to see. TJH also has this burst of violence which I think it's problematic and HATE (he has a habit of grabbing QS without her consent). both families disapprove of QS's background.
i think the biggest difference between the two relationships is probably QS herself. QS changed a lot when she was in a relationship with TJH and now. apparently breaking up with TJH helps make her skin a lot thicker and build her characters into a much stronger woman. she's also in the stage of her life where she is more confident about her abilities, and way more emotionally mature. YH, despite being younger than TJH, is a lot more calm and mature emotionally. That's why i think YH is the much better match for the current QS than TJH.
i do understand TJH's bitterness the way she broke up with him via a letter though. and this bitterness and feelings of not having closure plus his attraction to her manifest into lingering romantic feelings he still has over her, which she is probably not aware of or doesn't care, or both. but without closure, it will resurface at some point (as we see in later scenes in OST videos when he tried to hug her and she tried to push him away while YH was witnessing). i hope after that incident, QS gave him closure about their breakup and made it clear with him and that she definitely moved on so he better pays attention to his fiance instead. and i think we will see this (my guess is this will happen during the time QS and YH separate -- in the OST videos we see QS talking to TJH in the balcony of their company building. she then walked away and came looking for YH at his parents' house -- ending completely the chapter of the ex-bf drama).

it's not that YH cannot be brilliant he just does not have the desire to prove it through a career. Li Dai thinks very highly of YH (she said he's the one with a brain) so I think YH will be able to help QS and THJ with the prenup case. I think we will find out about his brilliance later. I kinda like a male lead who has brains but doesn't care to show off and doesn't need anyone to know about his talent. He did not care about accomplishments until he fell in love with QS and thought she preferred men with accomplishments.
