I watch this every so often. It’s a cute, endearing, funny, relatively quick paced series and has a feel good vibe. So I’m rewatching again prolly the 3rd or 4th time this year lol. I find a lot of BL series recently feel draggy, heavy, slow or if it is comedic, the comedy is overly cringe.
Also I love a truly committed villain, the mother in this is hilarious — I mean those flashing eyes and long nails! 😂
This was a great series. Been watching a bunch of the HIStory series’ and this was really well done. Chemistry was great imo, it had an interesting plot (although I kinda figured out who was the real bad guy early on), it still worked and felt exciting to watch.
Uhh it was okay. I felt like everything was rushed and suddenly feelings changed for no reason. Overall I feel it lacked depth. I feel like it also needed more time and development. And the chemistry was 6/10 okayish in my opinion.
I kinda liked the Thai one - like 7/10ish but to compare the two, I liked that the Thai one had more depth and time to explore things despite its problems.
I feel sad because I find both MLs irritating and I don't really care about what happens to them. This series looked pretty good based on the trailer (I genuinely want to like this) but I'm struggling to find anything likeable about these characters and their chemistry. Is it just me?
Agreed! There were so many opportunities for a shirtless scene for him but nope... just feels like they played…
Yeah it totally set up our expectations that it would get more intense from there and then (metaphorically) it was like "get in this steamy hot bath tub!" but when you get in it's lukewarm bordering on cold!
Jun Choi's aggressive flirting in earlier eps was the highlight for me tbh. And his jealous facial expressions that make for excellent memes (for real tho). Otherwise the drama was sorta bland and not really willing to take any risks which was sad – I thought they could have done a lot more. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great.
Pun’s last line to a passed out Ming tho “cover your ears” 🤣🤣🤣 the vibe was like “I’m sorry you’re heartbroken but Ashi and I are gonna go break the bed upstairs, hope you don’t mind”
