Even though Again My Life a thriller and revenge drama, this drama does not inflict any type of emotional damage on viewers through frustrating moments. In other words, its an satisfying (cider) kind of drama. That's the reason some complaints about this drama, because of lack of twists. and also many comparing this drama with his previous drama, which is absurd IMO because these two can't be compared at all. One thing for sure, JG did well for both drama.
Honestly Flower of Evil is once in blue moon drama. The combination of good script, good directing, and good acting. Jackpot.

Producer already planned AC for three seasons, I read several news about it in 2020, but because of pandemic, since most of filming taken outside South Korea, they postponed it.. We don't know what kind of effort the producer did to persuade original casts but i guess it didn't work. So they should cast new actors.
Changing actors for a popular series is difficult but its not impossible. It is always a dangerous choice for actors to take on a role played by another, But if LJG, he will do a good job. The thing is, it's very uncomfortable to see so many negativity from season 1 fans for new actors when its not even their fault. Not everyone though, but most of them are.
Anyway no confirmation yet. Just one thing for sure, SJK and KJW won't come back for season 2.

no matter the reason its a fact that they refused to come back, I just dislike how most season 1 fans, not only here but everywhere instead of blaming the production company, they questioned the ability of new actors.
