I kinda agree with you. Something is lacking in this drama. I don't know what but this isn't going the way I was…
the reason i said its an insult because the way you wrote your first comment. "I know Lee Joon Gi has a lot of fans, and I'm sorry, but he should finally learn to act after so many years. " With that sentence, you make us (people who love JG's acting) like some kind of moron who can't tell good acting from bad acting. Also the word "fake face" "I see a piece of log with a mask on its face" make people assume that you really resent him very much. You then, in your other comment mentioned about its your personal preference but still, it make me wonder if he did something awful to make you resent him like this. Of course, taste has no accounting. No one ask you to like him and if you hate his acting in FOE, i believe you wont like him for life.
I kinda agree with you. Something is lacking in this drama. I don't know what but this isn't going the way I was…
first when i read janec's comment " fake face" i know its an insult. but when i read "I absolutely hated him in "Flower of Evil", i know it means she has different taste from most people and for her, he is no good in acting.
Good acting in essence therefore, is not subjective but more so to do with believability. If an actor can make someone believe they are sad, believe they are dying, believe they are crazy, then the actor has done their job.
Yea, I think I can understand what ur saying and I respect your opinion. This drama is fast-aced so for some it…
Maybe because JG usually give us super heavy drama with difficult plot and many emotional tensions so people expect something similar this time. But its not. Its a light, fun and easy drama. Simply the journey of Hee Woo beat his enemy one by one with his minions by his side.
JG uploaded Action Full version ,Director's CUT in his Instagram account this morning. Go check it. The action scenes is so good, too bad it didnt make it to the drama.
It got really interesting in the second half of the episode, when LJG had a chance to show some emotions again.…
JG said himself that againma not a hard drama its an easy cathartic drama in purpose to give satisfactory feeling for viewers as they follow Hee Woo journey. so yes, can't be compared with FOE, different genre. FOE is a masterpiece. the parent survived in novel and i think it will too in this drama. Anyway his action scenes as usual never disappoint me. JG uploaded the uncut version of fighting scenes in his IG today @ actor_jg check it out yourself .
Episode 1 was greatttt buttt Lee Joon Gi, sorry to say, heavy makeup, eyebrow and too much botox >.< a bit disturbing
no botox. if you see him outside drama he is a happy person and so many eye lines/wrinkles everytime he laughs no way he uses botox lol. but i agree the make up kinda heavy but its not his fault though.
He once said in an interview, he wants to continue maintain his weight after the role of prince during Moon Lovers…
He explained in several occasion that the reason he keep his weight down.
For the role of Wang So in Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo, Lee Joon Gi lost 33 lbs so that he could look like the neglected, sad and lonely prince.
He lost some more weight for the role of Bong Sang Pil in Lawless Lawyer so that he could look like the lean and hungry but athletic lawyer who had suffered for 18 years.
While losing weight has nothing to do with real acting, it must be pointed out that it has made his body lighter and more flexible so that he could execute more impressive action or martial arts moves and prevent injuries. During filming Scholar, he injured his hamstring and broke his nose while doing some action scenes.
Maybe he doesn't have a particularly muscular and bulky body. but the most important thing that he is healthy and happy.
i already replied based on novel. hee ah has feeling but hee woo only has one purpose in his second life, to revenge the villain. so no romance. but we dont know if they will insert romance in drama adaption.
I do not like Lee kyung y “at all”. But I thought we need some clarification here - He was completely cancelled…
@prettystranger yeah I was surprised to see hate for other actors in the casts. Also some use it as excuse to defend other problematic artists with " if LKY still can get job here and everywhere why (insert name) being cancelled because of (insert their scandals)" Those people bring negativity to his drama. And its not fair for other casts and crews. I agree I hope we can enjoy this drama without them keep mentioning him.
since hee woo given second chance to reset his life and going back to his young self 15 years ago and met hee ah in university so nope, its not older man- younger woman relationship . in novel hee ah has feeling for hee woo but he only has one purpose in his new life, to defeat the villain.

maybe for her JG is not believable enough.
But its not. Its a light, fun and easy drama. Simply the journey of Hee Woo beat his enemy one by one with his minions by his side.
