Would you say it's worth it, watching a show you hated just because it has a great ending? Alternatively, would you condemn a show you enjoyed watching, just because it has terrible ending? Where's the cutoff past which it's already worth it or not regardless?
If you watch everything indiscriminately while it's releasing, then ratings/reviews aren't useful to you and you can just ignore them. You can also just wait until a show is finished, at which point it doesn't matter either way. Because all the unfinished reviews will either get deleted, edited, pushed towards the end of the list, or stay as "dropped". If you're worried that people won't start an ongoing series because of "bad" reviews that turned untrue in the end, then the people weren't that serious about starting it in the first place. And to tell someone whether they should watch a series or not? You don't need a review for that. Reviews aren't the ultimate guideline on should you/shouldn't you watch something. They are just opinions in their own little shiny boxes, with numbers next to them.

Similarly with the ratings, they obviously only relate to the part of show that a person has seen (in case of ongoing shows, up to the latest episode). I'm pretty sure people can understand that if the show isn't finished yet, the review doesn't consider the whole show.
Alternative to not having early reviews and ratings would be to go to dramas blind while it's airing, and discarding any opinions of those that haven't finished it in the first place. Which can give you a very biased intertpretation of what people think, and often too late.
