Finally caught up to this, and I'm... conflicted is the best word to describe it.
At first, I felt uncomfortable about how they were trying to hide serious stuff in a comedic portrayal, how forceful Shin was towards Minato (bordering on harassment), how weak Minato seemed and the teacher subplot... it was just too clashing to me.
Now, I'm not one to complain about slowburn. Quite frankly, I don't mind the lack of development of the main couple, as far as their relationship status goes. What really bothers me is the shallowness they portray the conflicts with. Minato's feelings, his relationship with the teacher, Saki... If they're taking it seriously, it should all have much more weight than it actually gets. Portrayed way deeper, in a more raw form. This is a very wishy-washy execution, just repeating the same underdeveloped dynamics over and over. It can't decide whether it's serious or OTT, and it's failing for me on both fronts.
I'm not going to tell you you're wrong, because a this point there is very little I would put past the writing…

My biggest problem with the show and the one I actually want them to fix is their censor/blur filtering. It looks horrendous! I'm pretty sure a random software app could do a better job. Did they steal it from SIMS or what?! 😑

I'm dropping this one. It's not a bad show, but it's just so long and empty plot-wise. If I watched this weekly, I might have enjoyed it way more. But imagining myself going through another 10 episodes of this when nothing major really happens seems tiring. Maybe some other time.
