Not a MAME fan. She disappointed me soo many times. But the trailer looks promising with fresh concept. I don't…
I mean, the humor is very FUTS/YYY/SCOY level of cringey. But the premise is fresh-ish and it's the least problematic one so far! No trauma dumping, no questionable consent... I can't vouch for future episodes, but episode one was pretty good as a silly nothing π
You're telling me that people can stay in touch while living apart?! Impossible!
Where's the female "rival" that touches one of the MLs for 0.3 microseconds and it triggers a 2 episode long misunderstanding?
What dark magic has the grandpa used to survive the BL curse until the end of the series?!
They even forgot to excuse the father's every action because it's SO HARD ON HIM to have a gay son! A guy who, now listen to this, also likes music and doesn't want to be a harvard lawyer?? I can't even imagine the suffering the father must have been going through! π
And when he finally comes to put his son on the right path, there's no "break up for your own good" plot? No "sent to study abroad" arc? People won't just let their elder walk all over them in the name of "respect"? How?
Mahiro was cute, though. And took no bullshit from anyone. So for him, it's worth at least trying if you have nothing better lined up. Just be sure to eat beforehand 𧑠(7/10)
This show is so freaking slow!!! I watched most of episode 3 on 1.7x speed and still felt the need to skip ahead. Considering itβs meant to be only 6 episodes long, thatβs one very exhausting start.
Off to the βOn Holdβ you go. And I hope I wonβt be desperate enough to come back π
By now we somewhat know where each of the big 3 stands, even though we might not know exactly why. So there's enough space to develop the story further, while still sticking to its base premise. But progressing it this much this soon... makes me think the writers have something else planned for the future episodes. Hopefully they won't take much of a detour π
1.4x is still too slow sometimes. Which is a shame, because the plot itself isn't bad. But the way it's shot/edited... people will ditch it out of boredom.
Kawi is getting kinda annoying, but still more on the cute site. He just needs to stop cutting up Pi and then wondering why is his husband-to-be upset π
Pisaeng is not much more than the standard "hot rich brooding Mr. Perfect" ML so far, though. Hope he gets a personality injection somewhere down the line π
Okay, episode 7 editing was a mess. And not a funny mess. The "you're moving too fast I'm getting dizzy" sort of mess. But episode 8 was good, all things considered!
I thinks this is still an above average K-BL. For reasons that will be apparent to you once you finish it's not gonna be above average rated BL, but I'll take a show like this over 12x40 minutes of miscommunication and meaningless secrets every single time. It should be even better as a binge, I presume. 8/10 π
Awwww, no! She's a beard bride. That's kinda disappointing π
It's not fun to win anymore this way.

I mean, is it even a BL at this point? π

Episode 2 was fine. Not much of a story progress, but we got some needed relationship development. Even the secondary couple seemed bearable this time around, plus the supernatural aspect is getting deeper than the "evil lady shrieking in a vanishing cafΓ©" of episode 1. I'll watch the third part hopefully tomorrow and then decide if it's worth more time. But considering it should only last 6 episodes, I'll probably stick with it.

[But then he's the book example of that rich husband we all pray for π]
Who the heck thought this was a good idea?! Main runtime-stretcher?
