This is the first episode that was just flat out boring to me. I mean, the first 3 aren't action-packed by any means, but they were good in setting up characters and just keeping the general vibe .
Pacing of episode 4 is horrendous. There is apparently a time-skip, but how big? I believe this would be way better if they let it simmer for a bit more in the post-honeymoon phase, before setting off all that. And cut most of the "sideplots", which are just plain boring. 2 couples should be more than enough to balance and develop through 10 episodes. For example, what purpose serves that little kid?
As for acting. Duen's character is realistic, though not universally likeable. But Pleng is just so. damn. bland! I feel nothing from him, and I'm not sure if I should blame the script, actor, or a director. Probably all of them and then some. I can see both of their sides, but Pleng is just not selling it to me. And it moved just a bit too fast for me to hit hard enough.

I guess I will just skim through each week for Shain scenes. I'm also oddly interested where the villa subplot is going, so I might pay a bit of attention there. But for the most part, this drama is a skip.

To sum up - around two minutes of Shun in the background, one scene with Fencer2 (though I'm not feeling the Sun-Petch ghostship yet), whatever the stagnant heck they are trying to do with Rain-Payuu-Baibua and an awful amount of skips otherwise. I probably spent more time writing these notes than watching the drama.
Pairings rankings don't have much of a meaning, since I'm skipping an awful lot. But Shain is still the only saving grace of this drama. Payuu deserves Baibua with the way he's acting. Sun-Petch could work? (Sun doesn't really work with anyone, but Petch (Phet?) is the best option. I'm certainly not giving him Shun!) All the rest should learn some manners.
As usual, we are ok on many points.But, I really found it refreshing, though.For once, I'm not bored.
At least there isn't a jealous gf trying to break them apart! And since we are in highschool, there shouldn't be any rape/cheating subplot, either. X could still have homophobic parents, but that's about it. And we all know something's gonna go down in X's life in 21 days (exile, most likely).
So, do I find it refreshing? Not much. But it's easy on my brain and easy on my heart so far, too. Could be funny in a long run! I just need to connect to the characters first 🙂

The general subs are okay. Not the greatest, but far from the worst. You will manage.
The problem is, they don't translate any text messages / comments that appear on screen! And there's lots of it! You could try google image translator, or just go without, and you would still get the gist of what's going on most of the time. But it's still a shame... 🖤
