Thank you for this summary. I completely don't feel the need to watch it anymore. Two episodes in and I'm already dropping this. But it's nice to know how the story goes.
Extremely underdeveloped love story. Questionable emotional connection between the leads. But hey, Lee Seung Gi's in it. Good-enough "snack" to pass the time.
Yes. Ru Na was the mastermind. That assistant or right hand of hers did all the dirty work for her. Her mom didn't…
As the eldest, she probably felt that she was responsible for Nina and her happiness. They used to be poor so she might've thought that she needed to do everything to keep their current status -- which, unfortunately, meant hurting or even killing Yeon Seo.
Let me get this straight. Ru Na was the one who dropped the lights on her, and Killed Jo Ajhusshi and the other…
Yes. Ru Na was the mastermind. That assistant or right hand of hers did all the dirty work for her. Her mom didn't hurt or kill anyone. Ru Na's dad was aware of her mom's activities and he helped her hide and burn all the evidence related to the cornea transplant.
* Hurt people tend to hurt other people. Our society is sick, wounded, and damaged. Unfortunately, only a few of us are doing the inner work to address our issues since it's easier to just go on social media and project our insecurities towards other people. * To be honest, most (if not all) of these celebrities know what they signed up for. Public figures are exactly that -- "public" figures. It's almost impossible to keep a private life (in this day and age) once you go public. * The system will not change unless the consumers' behavior does. As long as we keep consuming their contents and supporting their artists, they will continue doing what they have always been doing. Someone from the industry needs to step up (i.e. build their own agency like South Buyers Club and P-Nation) and the fans need to support them. * It takes a brave soul with a truckload of courage (like Sulli) to go against the grain. But it's an impossible battle to win and a very lonely journey to take. It leads to depression (and possibly suicide) if they don't get any support at all. * If anyone reading this is suffering from depression, there are a lot of resources on YouTube to help you get through it. There's a beautiful community of people there who are willing to accompany you to the end of the tunnel. If you don't have anyone from your physical surrounding supporting you, allow those videos from strangers on YouTube to uplift you. The world needs you. You are loved. You are appreciated. You are important. You are valued.
Shin Hye Sun really HARD CARRIED the whole drama for me. I would have probably given up on this drama if it wasn't…
"he actually distracted me from getting lost into the story as a whole by reminding me that this was all an' ACT' and he is just 'Acting', if you know what I mean." --> I know what you mean and I couldn't agree more.
I do not regret investing my time on this show at all. It was beautiful. And yes, Shin Hye Sun brought life to her character. Spectacular acting. I'm very impressed. Kim Myung Soo's acting improved towards the end and I'm hoping he would do even better on his future projects.
That wasn't too bad. I actually liked the ending. After reading a few negative reviews, I told myself not to expect anything from this drama -- although I still found myself mumbling "please don't ruin the ending" as I was getting hooked to it. But hey, the story is not bad at all. And the ending is lovely, too. It was sweet and beautiful. I loved it. ^^
I thought he got better during the second half of the drama.
He definitely did. I wrote this comment while I was still on the first half. I hope he continues to improve because I would really love to watch him pull off a wider range of emotions in the future. ^^
L's acting is painful to watch, to be very honest. I like him. He's cute. He can act, but he's not quite there yet. He can take me into their world but he can't sustain the emotion and drops it mid-scene. It's a bit frustrating. I hope he improves quickly so that I could enjoy his future dramas more.
I am having a really hard time rating this drama. Why? Because in all honesty, from episode 1-9 literally everything…
I just finished episode 10 and at this point, I don't feel the need to watch the remaining episodes. I could sense some serious trouble coming and I didn't come here for that.
I've long outgrown these types of drama but I suddenly felt the need to watch a lighthearted one. I chose this drama because I like Sung Hoon but I honestly like the second lead's character more. I guess when you mature you tend to prefer someone who feels warm and comfortable.

It now appears that Gu Hye Sun is a manipulative and controlling wife. She could even be a narcissist. No wonder why Ahn Jae Hyun got depressed on the first year of their marriage.
After reading the text messages that Dispatch revealed, I sympathize with both of them and at the same time I…
Not helping with chores, not taking care of pets, coming home late and drunk and bringing a colleague home without informing his wife sounds like a typical Korean husband to me. I was told by a Korean friend that Korean husbands tend to do this and it's somewhat seen as normal in Korea (or at least in her part of the country).
Wow! Just, WOW! Thank you SO much for writing this article. I was teary-eyed while reading it. You are an inspiration! I used to write in elementary and in high school. I was even a part of the school paper. But for some reason, I lost confidence in my ability and thought that my English was terrible. So I turned my back on writing and even hated being asked by relatives to write them an application or a resignation letter. i just totally lost confidence in myself and didn't want others to read my poor writing. But reading your article gave me hope and gave me the courage to try again. Thank you so, so much! This means the world to me <3
