I have not see Amidst a Snowstorm! I'll have to watch that!! Thanks for the recommendation!! ALSO OMG Lovely Runner…
Lovely Runner was so good, it took me FOREVER to finish it because I was watching each episode multiple times. As far as Amidst a Snowstorm of Love goes, it's a slow show. Not a lot happens (which I normally don't care for), but their relationship is just so wonderful. A man's intense stares get to me every time!
I was pleasantly surprised by this one too. Have you watched Amidst a Snowstorm of Love? The chemistry in it and Lovely Runner was amazing!! I highly recommend them if you are a romance junkie like me!
Great review, thank you! Chen Jing Ke actually played the support role of Jiang Yang in Amidst a Snowstorm of Love. Leo Wu was the lead in that one. I've got to find someplace to watch this.
I'll wait until the whole thing is released. So often a show starts out strong and then fizzles. I'd love to read your thoughts once you've watched the whole thing, because I'd love to see a cute, well-written show.
Thank you for your review. You've saved me some time!!! When I looked at the poster, everyone just looked blank, that's the same feeling I got from the trailer.
I'm absolutely with you! First, I'm all about the romance, and unfortunately it seems like most of them are lacking that certain "something". Tropes are added to fill time, the main couple is apart more than they are together, the ending is rushed after we suffered through them being apart. Then, along came Lovely Runner. I started it a week ago and it will probably be another week before I finish it, because I'm going back and watching each episode again! There are some problematic timeline issues for me, but I can completely ignore them because I am SO on board for the romance!! Off the charts chemistry, and I'm a sucker for when a man loves a woman first. The flying kisses, oh my gosh! Byeon Woo Seok's comedic timing was on-point, and you are exactly right about Kim Hye Yoon, she is funny and vulnerable, and I love her voice. I agree also with your assessment of the 2ML - I prefer that there not even be a HINT of 2ML (except in True Beauty), but he was so wonderful. I loved how he kind of sensed that she was older and kept making reference to it. The OST - I just read that the physical album for Eclipse came out. His voice is just beautiful. Sorry to be so wordy, I just meant to say that I liked your review, but then thinking about the show sent me off on a tangent!
This is exactly what is keeping me from watching season 2. How can they do everything that they accomplish (I LOVE how they are smarter than everyone and when they go in undercover), yet not know he's a bad guy?!? That's right up there with season one and the prosecutor easily finding their hideout.
Thank you for your review. The cast list was good, but I can do without all the bullying. And your description of the FL makes me think that I'll want to throw something at the tv, so I think I'll pass on this one.
Thank you for your review. Though this seems very dark for me, I plan to watch, because Ji Sung never disappoints. I really love when directors make use of colors in cinematography and clothing to convey emotion. It's much more nuanced to show us, rather than tell us.
I totally agree with you about the bodily function "jokes". I never find that funny. I'm struggling with the time travel inconsistencies, and the whole killer guy (what's the motivation exactly?), and boy, are the cops useless! That being said, something about this show is right up my alley. It's taking me forever to get through it, because I keep going back to replay episodes. Thank you for your review.
