My rating for Hidden Love was based on after she wasn't young anymore. I didn't care for When I Fly Toward You - she was too stalkerish and immature, and I could never figure out why he liked her. The Long Ballad - 49 episodes!?!?! Does it have a happy ending? I was reading that it doesn't have much romance, more about revenge, is that true? Have you watched Love Like the Galaxy? Thoughts? I don't typically care for historical dramas, but if the romance is good, I'll give it a try. I think if the word LOVE is in the title, it should have to be predominantly about the romance!

I loved this drama so much, such a healthy relationship. This is one that I re-watch periodically (fast forwarding through all the gaming and science talk) because the writers gave us a lot of romance! Have you seen Amidst a Snowstorm of Love? I just finished it, and it's a WONDERFUL love story! A lot of people said that it was slow, and it was, it was pretty much the progression of their relationship. The chemistry of the leads was out of this world. Another one that I loved was Hidden Love. C-dramas aren't my favorite, since they seem to be needlessly bloated with too much filler, but there have been a few that I've enjoyed. Thank you for your review.

Great review. It's on my list to watch soon. I never love shows as much as everyone else (at least the ones that are the most hyped).

I just finished Episode 1 - He gets framed AGAIN for murder?!?! I would also love for someone to spoil me some things (listed below).

Are Sung Ah and Detective Son okay in the end? I've grown attached to them. And since I suspected him all season 1, I hope he doesn't turn out bad! So, are the baddies Baek Sung Il, Do Hyung and Joo Hyeon? Anyone else? I want to know ahead of time, this show has made me a big sissy!

Season 2, thus far, seems to be even MORE corruption and politics than the first season. I think part of the rating problem is that there are SO many people to keep track of! People are coming in and going out constantly, and it's hard to keep up. I got to the point that I'm kind of tuning out everyone that doesn't seem integral to the story. Well written show.

This is one of my go-to rewatches. Their character development and relationship development was a treat. Plus, she was very different looking and not a damsel in distress.

This one has been on my list to watch. I really wish that the Chinese writers would get a clue that after suffering through 36 bloated episodes, we would really like to see the couple actually together.

Great review! The writers like to write angst a lot, but not so much with the couples being happy together. Typically, for 16 episodes, you have 15 3/4 episodes with drama, breakups, and filler, with the last 1/4 episode for the very rushed ending. Ugh, I'm so tired of that!

Great review for what I thought was a great show. I also like Lee Se Young. I just finished watching Doctor John though, and I didn't care for her character in that at all, though that was more a writing issue than the actress herself. Bae In Hyuk is an actor that fascinates me, for some reason.

Excellent review! I typically don't love makjang, but was planning on watching it to see what all the fuss was about. Even in the trailers, her lack of expression really bothers me.
