I totally agree with you. I haven't watched the whole show, because I just can't spend all my time watching something for a tragic ending. However, I have watched a bunch of scenes and compilations, and she seems very selfish and cruel.

I don't care for melodramas, but the clips for this have been so good, and I've especially enjoyed being here and reading what everyone is thinking about the show. I'm looking forward to hearing from you all (after the last two episodes drop) if the ending is as satisfying for you as the rest of the drama has been.

She's in the cast lineup for season three, so unless they just show flashbacks, she's not dead.

When you say main couple, you mean her and the office worker, not her and her husband, right? And then does she stay in the past and will she ultimately get cancer anyway?

So hoping it will actually be funny.

Great review!! I don't like historical dramas as a rule, I was going to make an exception with this one because of all the rave reviews, but it sounds to me like I'd want to kill the FL. I hate dramas where the characters never grow out of their initial issues.

Great review, thank you for this. I love the cast, but the storyline is too dark for me, but I thought maybe I'd give it a try, but with a sucky ending, I'm just going to forget it. You worded it perfectly. In so many dramas, we have to see all the struggles that the main couple go through, then at the end they don't end up together, or don't have contact with each other for years. To me, that totally diminishes the love they are supposed to have for each other.

I'm with you on Love Alarm. And as for Strong Girl Namsoon, after reading all the reviews, I'm avoiding it like the plague!

Okay, maybe I'll keep this off my To Watch list. I hate bad endings.

How many episodes in before you got interested? I couldn't get past the first episode, but I want to try again and know how long I'm going to have to wait for it to get interesting.

I really don't care for melodrama (makjang), so didn't watch the other ones you mentioned. Once I hear how the ending is, I will watch this one. I've loved all the scenes of the main couple, and I'm a sucker for a guy loving a girl first.

Just here to skulk through the comments. The clips I've seen of this show just seem so beautifully over the top (I'm not normally a fan of melodrama) and they make me so anxious to start it. I'm holding out until it's all released, because if they screw up the ending...

You should watch Rowoon in She Would Never Know (romance), Click Your Heart (short romance on YouTube), The King's Affection (historical romance), and Tomorrow (action, fantasy, drama). I am ALL about romance, and Tomorrow doesn't have romance, but it was EXCELLENT!

Great review. This is one of my favorite shows. I struggled with the first couple of episodes because her fangirling was a bit much. But the chemistry between the two was fire and they are so cute together. Plus, that man knows how to wear clothes!
