Thank you. Did you ever see the Japanese version? Something happened in it to make me put it in my "not interested" list. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts of Tell Me That You Love Me when it's completed. One commenter put "comfort drama for hopeless romantics". THAT got me interested.

If you haven't watched it already - Tomorrow (with Rowoon) is excellent! Missing: The Other Side 1&2 were good, and strangely Happiness (the zombie one), I thought had an excellent romance in it.
I've not watched it yet, but you are right with the over-hype, usually they can't live up to our expectations. I get what you are saying about new kdrama viewers, but I've been watching for years and sometimes "cringe" is what I need, something simple to just make me smile. King the Land was that way for me (though I don't particularly care for Yoon Ha here), and I didn't love Destined with You - there was a lot that was problematic for me. I admire that you can drop a drama, once I start I HAVE to watch the whole thing, even though I hate myself for wasting my own time. Thank you for your review.

Is there a specific genre you like? Romances are my favorite, but there have been a few cases that I've switched it up and been really pleased. Have you seen Good Manager (Chief Kim) with Namkoong Kim and Lee Jun Ho? LOVED IT!!!

Thank you for these. The ratings for Love Me, Love My Voice are all over the place, so I don't know if I'm even going to attempt it! My Dearest I think would be too melodramatic for me. I loved Twinkling Watermelon and King the Land (wow, their chemistry! and I loved watching him try to figure out how to date). Summer Strike is on my list, so maybe I'll move that to the top, I would have loved The Good Bad Mother if I'd only watched the last episode (which I loved), but I hated the rest - too much abuse, corruption. I'm going to check your list as well. Thank you so much!
Agree with you! Don’t know why it’s so overrated. I thought she was always running after him and he just didn’t…
Thank you so much for your comment! In this day and age, when I see that someone has responded to my review, I get a pit in my stomach, because some people are so judgmental if you didn't feel the same as they did. I even went back and read most of the reviews and everyone just raved about it being just about the best thing since sliced bread! On that note, has there been a show that you particularly liked (not historical though)? Now I'm afraid to start a new show because I tend to get about three bad ones in a row. Thank you again, have a great day.
I knew something is seriously wrong with the korean society ever since han hyo joo got attacked and cancelled…
Please don't paint everyone with the same brush. Regarding fanbase, there are sasaengs, there are extreme fans (those that badmouth other groups, unfortunately), and there are regular fans that like someone without being psychotic. Sadly, we even see that a lot here at MDL, where people bad-mouth and down-rate actors that they don't like, as well as up-rate mediocre shows just because they are fans of the actors. The justice system in Korea definitely needs work, when they will ruin a man's life with mere words, yet serious crimes go unpunished. It absolutely breaks my heart that this man thought he had no other option. I feel so bad for his family and friends.
