Your review was great. I thought I was the only person in existence that didn't like this drama. I was so irritated with it I couldn't do a decent review, I just wanted to move on.

It's bad enough when we have one person doing this in a drama (in most dramas, and my question is, "why"?), but to have two!?!?!

For Lee Jae Wook, watch Alchemy of Souls, Extraordinary You, Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol, and Search: WWW. (I loved him in every each show, though I didn't love the dramas themselves. (Don't attack me people, it's my personal opinion!) Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol had the worst, most anger-inducing ending ever, but LJW was wonderful nonetheless.

It's all a matter of opinion. I was one of two people, apparently, that didn't like Our Beloved Summer. Gonna wait until this gets completely released, find out how the ending is, and then give it a try.

Thank you for this information. I understand what you mean about realistic endings. I, however, don't want to waste endless hours of a "romance" only to have the ending be bad. I don't have troubles with open endings or sad endings in other genres, but if I'm watching something about love and what people go through to overcome/endure, to me a sad or open ending just diminishes their love. I realize that most people don't think this way, so I appreciate when someone takes the time to spoil the ending.

Okay, you taught me something new today! Who knew that you could keep track of your watch history, etc. I just write reviews for myself so I can remember what I liked or didn't like and why. You are absolutely correct. The more you've seen, the less easily pleased - because when you see something that you think is REALLY good, you know. When I first started watching, I tended to LOVE everything. Now I'm more discerning. Seeing my list, I have spent a LOT of time with Asian dramas!!! Eye opening!!!

I'm sorry, but the poster just cracked me up. He's going in for a kiss and she's looking behind him?!?

A couple of warning signs for me: "I fast forwarded through most of it" or "it got draggy" "the couple was hardly together at all" "rushed ending."

Why!?!?! It seems like most of the C-dramas are bloated with a lot of unnecessary stuff that we have to suffer through, only to have the couple get together in the last five minutes!

what happened?

The review above makes this drama sound like it was fabulous, and then you said you didn't like it. I'm confused. Anyway, I hated it. The writing was terrible, the characters were unlikeable (pretty much all of them), the acting was bad. Jang Ki Yong was expressionless throughout the show, but when you compare him with Song Hye Kyo, HE was overacting! She literally had the same expression and vocal intonation throughout the whole drama - like she was sleepwalking through the whole drama or something. Really bad. Then, there was all the dead time, with people just staring. Staring into space, staring at each other, staring at a door. Time wasted watching this was time I'll never get back.

Personally, I found W very repetitive.

For me, these time skips always diminish their love for each other. You go away for years, after everything you went through to be together?!?!

It was filmed in 2016. 38 episodes?!?!?

Don't you think it's sad that we have to slog through 17 episodes before it starts to get good?
