The review above makes this drama sound like it was fabulous, and then you said you didn't like it. I'm confused. Anyway, I hated it. The writing was terrible, the characters were unlikeable (pretty much all of them), the acting was bad. Jang Ki Yong was expressionless throughout the show, but when you compare him with Song Hye Kyo, HE was overacting! She literally had the same expression and vocal intonation throughout the whole drama - like she was sleepwalking through the whole drama or something. Really bad. Then, there was all the dead time, with people just staring. Staring into space, staring at each other, staring at a door. Time wasted watching this was time I'll never get back.

Personally, I found W very repetitive.

For me, these time skips always diminish their love for each other. You go away for years, after everything you went through to be together?!?!

It was filmed in 2016. 38 episodes?!?!?

Don't you think it's sad that we have to slog through 17 episodes before it starts to get good?

I just watched Lost Romance and it was the same concept, but rather than a novel, it was a drama that she went into. Then there's Extraordinary You, she's in a comic. Could it be either of those?

There's no romance tag. Even though romance is my favorite genre, sometimes by throwing it in, it ruins the flow of the mystery/thriller.

I don't know what else is on currently, but isn't it possible that the ratings are good because there are no other decent shows to watch?

I'll wait until it's fully released, thanks for the advice. That being said, don't you think it's sad how much fast forwarding/skipping we have to do in these dramas?

I understand what you are saying. So much of the time, I think I must be watching a different drama than everyone else, when they LOVED it, and I didn't like it at all. We all go in looking for specific things in a drama, and we all have different taste.

I think the reason the drinking in this bothered me so much was it just made the characters do things that made them even MORE unlikeable. And I've watched a ton of K Dramas and know that drinking seems to always play a part. For once, I was glad that they actually gave a drama the correct name when they named Drink Now, Work Later, so it was an easy one for me to pass on.

The problem, for me, is that the woman disguised as a man is never believable. The women are always so beautiful that they would never be mistaken for a man. The only exception was Park Eun Bin in The King's Affection.

I think CWS is a terrific actor. I was, apparently, one of the two people in the world that didn't like Our Beloved Summer, but he was good in The Package, and he was EXCELLENT in Ho Goo's Love.

Love is blind and she chose to see what she wanted to see. Add to that the discovery (or actually opening her eyes to) the fact that her family was a nightmare, and that sent her reeling.

Thank you so much. It FINALLY became clear to me at the end. It was just that when I watched the clips before watching the show, it seemed like he was more involved with her before the time jump than he was in actuality.
