That damnnnn scene in the episode 30...bro I can see his veins ...It looked like that he actually stabbed himself…
God that scene was so good! I was flinching when he was stabbing himself. He really made us feel his pain. Throughout the show, his eyes were so expressive. Even the slightest flicker revealed how he was feeling.
Iām still gutted about POJ! They did him so dirty. I so wanted to see his fight scenes!
I couldn't stop yapping about how amazing ZLH is in here. Seriously I'm in awe. ZLH didn't just play Murong Qingyi, he became him. He embodied the character so completely that you forget the actor and only see Murong Qingyi. I sincerely hope he continues to choose scripts like this in the future.
Seriously the entire cast was phenomenal. Every single performance was š„! The writer did justice to every character. The costumes, the sets, the cinematography...everything so stunning!!!
And wow ZLH you blew me away. So so proud of you. This was my first time watching Wang Churan and I'm a fan now. Never seen two people so beautiful and so perfectly matched on screen.
What really gripped me from the very beginning was the family dynamic and that was the emotional core of the story and it ended on such a beautiful note. I just wanted the three brothers to find their way back to each other and be a happy family again šš¤§
This drama was the one I was most excited about before it was released but now I'm finding it hard to even keep up with it.
Does Lu Qing even like Xiao Fan? I know that's the whole point of the storyline but the imbalance in their social status is so uncomfortable to watch. Like they are not equal and that Lu Qing thinks the same as well. It makes it even worse when Xiao Fan acts like a servant around Lu Qing. Please bro grow a backbone.
And why is Lu Qing parading the other guy in front of Xiao Fan now? I've only finished ep 4 and losing my patience with this drama. I hope it gets better.
Standing applause to the script writer. It's really messy, but I enjoy it hahaha
This is the first time I'm seeing a cdrama with so many important characters being treated fairly. The scriptwriter has done justice to every single character.
even though he js still so young, he has such a mature presence that whenever he plays a father, it feels so natural. loved him in kunning palace as well. ZLH should play more father roles lol.
hands down ZLH's best performance so far. im in awe. and what a solid cast! every character has a meaningful role in the story. they each have their own motivations, goals and agenda. it's so refreshing to see that not a single character is sidelined for the sake of the main characters.
Just done with ep 23. Wow what an episode!!! God that mother!! I was hoping to see some kind of remorse from her for the way she treated Murong Qingyi all these years but nope. Seriously never seen a mother like this in any drama or movie.
The rating just shows that there are so many people trying to bring this show down. Lol rate it as low as you can, it still won't change the fact that this show is freaking awesome.
the drama might be over, but the boys are keeping on going. i'm pretty sure they're going to do fanmeets and concerts…
Yes the story of Ollie and Shuyuan is just beginning. But I'll miss seeing them as a part of Deep In, doing promos, reacting to episodes, bts. I hope we get to see them together in another project again soon.
Can you tell me if Gao still takes some kind of revenge on this guy in the novel? If he only gives in to him and…
Tbh I didn't finish the book. I didn't care to finish the book, more like it. A complete english translation is not available. But I skimmed read some of the last chapters using google translation.
But yeah, nope, there's no revenge. Gao actually already knew who the rapist was. When they meet for the second time, the rapist takes him home and rapes him again. Then they end up in a relationship. I have no idea why. The writer is f-ed up basically. Before that, Gao also has sex with a bunch of men. Some are of questionable consent and some unprotected. Maybe he was on a self destructive path. But the most disturbing thing is that the story shows him actually finally enjoying sex after those encounters, and he starts minimising the trauma of being raped. He convinces himself that it's just sex at the end of the day, and yeah he basically gets over his ptsd.
Omg I feel so much better now that the rapist actually got arrested! Justice finally prevailed.
I love how Gao Zhun had no clue who that guy was, but once he found out, he stood up for himself and took steps to avenge himself.
From the very beginning, I found the drama incredibly well made but kept wondering why Wen Dao had chosen to adapt such a shitty novel out of so many others.
Sorry Wen Dao for doubting you. Thank you for not romanticising rape. You really are a genius. Thank you.
