thank you for this.. i tried watching those that are less than 10 minutes.A Late Night - skipped this for now…
Hshs a late night might catch you off guard! VP - I partly agree but I think I fully understood the ending I think it restarted with everyone on the same "viewpoint", but I think he may have left it open for interpretation. Got - surprised me honestly, I didn't expect such a happy but such a sad piece?? Stunning little piece, the directors have peaked my interest.
You at more than welcome!!!! I hope you enjoy them all as much as I did or at least enjoy them to a degree ^^
I watched Two Lights: Relumino, it was soo touching I loved it. It was a romance between 2 blind people who met…
Oooo I'll have a look for these! (Is there any chance you could perhaps link me? They didn't show up on YT with a quick search ^^) I might definitely have to do a second part to this list with how many recommendations I've been given hshs. You're more than welcome ^^
I can't speak for others but for me, part of the appeal is he was one of the first Japanese directors I actually…
I might do! Most have been pretty average though so I have to sit and formulate how to sell them so people know they're just sort of okay but aspects b c and D made them really enjoyable for me so they can see them in a different light ><
Oooo what's it called! Watch it tonight after I finish the one I'm watching :D
I'm not a horror fan and only really watch horror by chance, so I haven't seen much of his work . I loved Crows…
That's fair enough! He's got plenty for everyone hshs. I am really excited about the other two crows movies, I haven't had chance to binge the rest yet but the first was brilliant. I haven't heard that one recommended actually, you'd be the first! I'll have to push that one up my PTW list and take a look sooner ^^ Thank you!
I think he's very hit or miss, I usually DNF most of his movies. But I recently saw First Love at my local theater…
I would tend to agree, a few of his films I've had to come back to after leaving a few days (I'm incapable of dropping anything, but if I could, I admit I'd have a few of his on there) First Love sounds very promising which I'm really thankful for! Whenever an Asian film does well in the west I'm always hesitant because its never quite the same for constant consumers of the media so this is really hopeful! As much as I love his horror, I do think he's more suited to action sometimes ><
It is very unique and very quirky!! A proper little feel good film wrapped up with a lil scarf!Ahh I adore them.…
On LBD you can set it so that it fades watched films in a list! And yeah you can't export stuff other than your full data on LBd but the staff are looking at ways to improve the list feature and that's been mentioned frequently ^^ LBd is 8 years old but it's only recently started growing its user base more so there's a lot to be done for the staff

I hope you enjoy it! It's definitely one to sit back and just have a giggle at whilst also being unnerved!
I will definitely look into them! I'm curious now since I'm also looking into Japanese short films for my next article as well! Ohhh I see! However I think revenge does fit. With Exte, the curse is set because a woman wants revenge for the way she died; revenge horror is a very vast definitive genre so it does relatively fit!! I'll check out Tag and this series next!
Hshs from what I've seen so far I think I will enjoy it. I love directors who can master many different types of genres and mediums and make each one their own, they always have a massive backlog to enjoy in different ways.
I hope you can enjoy them more now with a different perspective!

They don't include TV shows on Letterboxd unfortunately other than a few rare ones that are cinematic in portrayal (such as haunting of hill house), I don't know a specific app for TV, my anime list is good for anime and manga but I just continue using imdb and tmdb for tv shows until I've found one ^^

I will be writing one on Sion as well! (if someone else doesn't claim) and shiraishi Koji too!!
I've been very curious about Laplace, what did you think about it?
He is so versatile it's almost ridiculous, his new film looks quite unique from him but still so easily noticeable as his, I'm so excited for it
Might have to do a part 2 with the recommendations I'm getting!
Which ones have you seen? I'm curious what you thought of them ^^

Summer Bus was really wonderful, just so wonderful and warm! I couldn't stop smiling throughout it

I'll check out these TV ones, thankyou!!
