It's alright! Quite a few j-horror fans show up here so someone might spot your comment and know! I personally don't know this but it does sound familiar... Have you tried looking at films such as Three.... Extremes, with the segemented sections? (My first thought was 3E and I checked and it doesn't sound like what you're describing). Only thing I can think of, but I'll be on the look out!

They also have variant regional forms of Mandarin that some people find hard to understand if they haven't learned the HK/TW form of Mandarin specifically. I can't understand 98% of the HK/TW stuff I watch and I'm studying Mandarin. Despite on paper being China's "property", HK and Tw are still very much their own places.

Just having some spacial awareness online always helps fellow cineophiles have a better all round experience!

Ugh honestly YouTube viewers learn to at least mark spoiler on your comments TT had so many good shorts ruined by the top YouTube comment.

Crows zero and jojo both show more action and not horror! I did make sure of that, to make sure they fit only action and couldn't be misconstrued of horror so there is variety!

Honestly, I love writing about directors and finding out more about them. The staff on films definitely needs more love and appreciation as a whole in general and I'm definitely planning to do more in the future ^^
