the netflix subs are awful i'm so glad i am not bad at korean cause why the f are they making up insults, overusing…
no emotion in Suho and SiEun meeting, it felt like they just threw it in at the last minute to please the fans!!
In an interview Choi Hyun Wook and Park Ji Hoon had together after S1, Hyun Wook revealed that, to him, what Su Ho would say to Si Eun if he could meet him again after waking up from his coma would simply be "how are you ?" because for him, Su Ho wouldn't get all outwardly emotional about it even though these words actually meant a lot. He would stay simple and calm. Ji Hoon was moved by this and thought this was a great idea and in character for both of them. I guess the writer thought so too. They didn't need much more. I wouldn't have minded more emotions, sure. But at least we got that and I think it does suit these two characters. However please put your comment as a spoiler, some people don't know this yet and may want the surprise.
The oldest are 34 (Bae Na Ra/ Na Baek Jin), 32 (Yoo Soo Bin/Choi Hyo Man) and 28 (Lee Jun Young/Geum Seong Je).…
Yeah they sure don't look like teenagers :D. I think it's an issue in most school set dramas, I guess. I try not to think too much about it but sometimes it does look fake lol.
The oldest are 34 (Bae Na Ra/ Na Baek Jin), 32 (Yoo Soo Bin/Choi Hyo Man) and 28 (Lee Jun Young/Geum Seong Je). The rest is 26 or below. They're good actors and they don't really look old so I think it's alright.
I'm glad it's over, but I felt the same with s1. It's like a train wreck, you can't look away, but I never enjoyed…
I don't like pointless violence but I think that in this drama it's pretty well done. Most of them do not want to fight. But they were forced to. As for waking up from a coma, that's why he's on a wheelchair and doesn't move. He hasn't forgotten how to speak so I didn't think it was weird. He didn't do anything except look at him and speak a few words. It would have been weird if he had joined them in their fight you know xD? But here I think it was OK. But well, we all like different things, if it's not your thing it's perfectly fine.
as someone who completed the manhwa and loves the manhwa to fellow manhwa readers who have been watching season…
Personally I prefer the drama, overall, as the webtoon was imo too draggy, too long, and when there are too many characters I stop caring about any of them. But the drama almost criminally lacks development and goes over everything way too fast. So I guess it really depends on what you like more, but objectively the webtoon goes way more in depth with everything and everyone so it would be better in that regards. The drama is still a fun watch.
I don't think so ? In France it's coming out at 9am apparently.
I don't know, on my Netflix page it's written 'available soon' since like yesterday and when I checked on google directly it's written new Netflix series in France come out at 9am so idk... It's the first time I'm waiting for a show on Netflix on the first day it airs, usually I watch much later, so maybe I'm mistaken. Where are you from ?
This was my exact same question. lol I mean, even if they can't do anything to stop all that fighting, they could've…
In a recent interview for WH2, Ji Hoon was asked why there's never any teacher around to stop fights and he basically answered as a joke "because if there were, fights wouldn't happen" :D. It's not very realistic, but heh...
No he did not and nothing hinted at that. From a very basic psychology analysis, he was crazily insecure and felt…
You're very kind and pleasant to talk to. Interpretations of anything will always vary depending on our own personal point of view and biases, that's totally normal, for any topic. I'm not necessarily 100% right in my analysis, but I'm glad you consider it to be at least reasonable. Thank you for the discussion.
No ahn suho is original, Alex go is meshed with gerard, kang wooyoung is also an original, and wolf isn’t meshed…
Ahn Su Ho is definitely based upon Ahn Stephen, just like Oh Beom Seok is based on Oh Bryce. But Stephen in the webtoon is not a fighter at all and his character is very different so he is either mixed with another character or simply revisited. Kang Woo Young could very well be a mix of Kang Jack and Bae Jimmy as well but the drama is simply not following very closely the webtoon anyway, as Jack and Jimmy are not in the 'Stephen/Gray' prequel/flashbacks and have nothing to do with him. The show does retain the "idea" and the basic characters of the webtoon but a lot is changed. So they could have combined a few characters this way without actually following the events of the webtoon. Wolf I guess we'll have to wait and see if he's a copy of the webtoon's Wolf or different.

Hi! Thanks for replying and being so kind. To be honest, I just don't see it and I think that to see it, you may need to start with the presupposition that it is true, you know ? Anything you said can be explained from another point of view that is still non-romantic and is, I think, what the writer intended.
Calling her a bitch was just him trying to put the blame on someone because he was so angry and desperate and she was a very easy target. The fact he didn't act the same with Si Eun is in my opinion because Si Eun was a part of this group from the start and is also basically the reason they got close, he also felt guilty towards him and probably wanted to be on his side rather than against - and Si Eun was pretty neutral, there wasn't really a dominant/dominated dynamic with him in the group, he wouldn't tell Beom Seok what to do, he wouldn't be physical with him and grab him by the shoulders like Su Ho would do, etc...
But you know, that's what is great with art, fiction and fictional characters, we don't have to be right, we can just enjoy them, think about them and their motives and imagine all kinds of possibilities in our head to spark our creativity.
From what the writer said this story is about platonic bonds, friendship and the fragility of youth and this is what I believe too, but if you think Beom Seok was gay and this is your interpretation of what happened between them, you're just as valid as I am.
I think beom seok had a crush on suho because when they freshly just became friends he was insta stalking him…
No he did not and nothing hinted at that. From a very basic psychology analysis, he was crazily insecure and felt threatened that the place he thought he had barely secured in this group was going to get erased again in the blink of an eye when Yeong I arrived because he felt she was better than him - it would probably have been the same if it was a guy instead of a girl. He wasn't insta stalking Su Ho, he wanted recognition and was doing it to be liked hoping to get the same in exchange, just like when that other guy from the other group said I'll follow you on insta if you follow me and all that. He did not do the same with Si Eun because it was very clear from the start who was the leader in the pack - Su Ho (+ Si Eun probably does not have insta). Su Ho was the guy he needed to get close to and impress. That's also the guy with whom he would have the most dominance issues, as he alternatively wanted to be liked by him with wanting to basically be like him - cool, strong, funny, outgoing, carefree, while he was none of that -. Beom Seok did what he did because he has dominance, self-esteem and trust issues due to his father and his past. He was torn between his genuine appreciation for his two friends, and his traumatic, visceral need to belong, be liked, as well as dominate and impress to compensate everything else that he was desperately lacking. Nothing to do with having a crush I think.
