I too found it a bit odd, that general's face was familiar, but why would they choose a familiar actor for a role which lasted like 5 mins in the whole drama!

Their whole (love?)story is like a game of chess, it is natural to be calculative. You have been watching him do things, yet you think he would mean that line? I think he would choose to give up his life rather than making a choice like that!

I'm at ep 25, but sorry, I can't bring myself to hate Wanning. She is too cute🥴.Lol. Her eyes are just like a baby. Her eyes are always "🥺".. 😭

Then just have a wooden doll act, why need an actress? In my opinion, even if it was her character, viewers need to connect with the character to understand. If the character's face is that stiff without any emotions for frkn 36 eps!... There are many dramas out there with similar characters, who are long lived and emotionless. They still did well! How come this time, its only viewers(mostly their fans) who assume things to satisfy themselves?!

Then atleast we can have some hopes of 2nd one not being this bad.

Hopefully 2nd and 3rd parts won't end up like this. It was an absolute dissapointment.

Agreed with your whole review. But what makes you give this a 7/10? You are too generous. To someone like me, if a review with a 7 shows up fisrt on a drama page, i would still give the drama a try. But this drama was a complete waste of time in my opinion. So your rating may mislead many like me. (Just my opinion though). Apart from that, i agree on every negative things you pointed out.
It was my first time watching both the leads. Since, i also have no previous data, leads' acting was.....( i would better not word it).
