ShenLi is the daughter of FengLai- a powerful monster created by Mofang's father LiuMing who was the previous demon lord. After creating many monsters, Liuming started to loose control over them, so he created FengLai a more powerful one among them to be their leader. Hence, FengLai can be said as the King of monsters(chimeis). FuSheng knows ice skills likely because he has been keeping an eye on QingYe(his various lives) and has somehow learned the water stopping skill of ancient gods, but withiut divine power he can't full manipulate the spell. So what he does is just the imitation of the spell. MaFang is the actual prince of demon realm as his father was former demon lord, who is now sealed in the abyss. Fusheng is also a monster created by LiuMing.
I legit wish I can press an erase button in my mind… coz I read the novel, mostly because it was so short; super…
Me too..... I don't read novels. This is my first novel that i read before completing the drama. I have only read 2 novels, this one and another novel of AncientLovePoetry drama. That too half, as that novel is too big for me to complete.lol.
Wished to see more damage done to SL's body as well. In the novel she really gets severely injured during battles....but…
I don't like this exact thing. After every fight, in the novel, shenli is always seriously injured with blood all over her body etc. But in the drama, there were mere wounds on her body. Why not make it 15+(or whatever is the limit for them to show violence) then. East Sea fight really looked silly, apart from that majestic phoenix flying in the sky. That was the only likable part in that fight for me. Details in the Novel were excellent in that fight.
I would have liked if they, instead of giving today's completely filler episode, they could have shown more detailed fight on east sea.
As i have read the novel, details were really not that visible. Her burning everything and herself could have been more interesting if the details were shown in the drama. A bit dissapointed. They have done it with every fight till here. If it is due to any laws/legal reasons, then may be understandable. If not then they are trying their best to make it boring with that great of CGI effects.
In the novel it was Youlan not Furong who knocked some sense into XY at the East Sea. I guess they wanted Youlan…
Was thinking the same. She really was shocked to see XZ in that state for ShenLi in the novel. If not for filler, definitely YL knocking sense would have been better imo
