Even if she was wary of him, she shouldn't be so blunt about that. XZ also utters her concerns out loud making it seem more disrespectful to both of them.

Its quite long to spoil in detail. To summarise, his life and death are beyond his control, and responsibilities towards three realms are too heavy. He can't have emotions sway him. He has been lonely for heaven knows how long! He wants SL's company but is yet to realise how much he actually wants her company.
