how is the romance is it mature and without cliches !? and is their love triangle or break up!? thank you
There's actually no romance in the show. Just some unrequited loves that stay as friendships. Everything was handled in a very mature and realistic way imo.
something is missing, maybe the chemistry.when i watched the first trailer i was like " these character fit with…
Sameeee. When I saw the trailer, I got excited because I love the manga and the Japanese adaptation + GeminiFourth did amazing in MSP. But now that I'm seeing the actual show ... it's not what I expected. Something is missing 🫤
I didn't like episode 2 as much as episode 1. The umbrella scene felt awkward and the acting is not convincing me. Hopefully the upcoming episodes are better.
IS THE OG VERSION WORTH WATCHING BECAUSE I HAD FUN WATCHING THEIR MOCK TRAILER
That's the one-episode special that the series is based on. It was so well-received in Japan that they decided to make a longer series based on it which is Ossan's Love (2018).

Worry not! I know it seems there's too much to watch, but you only need to watch the following in this order: Ossan's Love (2018), Ossan's Love: Love or Dead (2019), and Ossan's Love Returns (2024).
There's a season called Ossan's Love: Love in the Sky which set in an alternate universe and has a different actor for one of the main leads. You don't need to watch it at all.
As a big fan of the original Ossan's Love, I honestly believe the Thai remake will not make justice to the story and specially, the comedy. Maybe it's because I'm so used to Japanese comedy (and enjoy it so much) whereas when it comes to Thai comedies I always find them too forced, cringy and/or boring. I've been watching Thai (BL) dramas for 7 years and there's only been two that I genuinely consider funny and entertaining.
After watching the (pilot) trailer of the Thai remake, my worries have not subsided. I know Earth's and Mix's chemistry won't disappoint at all, but I can't say the same for how the story is going to be adapted nor how the comedy is going to be handled. Even Earth's acting in the trailer is not convincing me; it doesn't feel natural enough for this type of role.
Either way, I will watch this remake with the hopes that it will prove me wrong. After all, I did like the Hong Kong remake so it's not like remakes can't be good.
(p.s. So it seems they are only adapting the first season. I wonder if they will adapt the movie and latest season in the future if this remake does well.)

Definitely worth it! Season 1 might be a little too much for some people, especially if you are not used to that type of Japanese comedy. If you enjoy it, even just a little, I definitely encourage you to watch the sequel movie so that you can watch the newest season (Ossan's Love Returns) which is, in my opinion, the best season!
Ngl, this is the main reason why I couldn't enjoy this drama. When I first heard of the plot, I got curious and decided to watch it because I wanted to see how they would handle this kind of story. Unfortunately, I don't think it was handled properly. The whole time, I felt uncomfortable with Qian and Yuan's relationship. I don't understand how someone who has raised a child as his younger brother could develop romantic feelings for him. That never sat right with me and I'm honestly shocked that very few viewers felt weirded out by it. But even without taking the incest-y vibes of the story into consideration, I didn't find the show anything special nor worthy of having so many high ratings.
