I can't watch yang mi largely because her look always comes across as a weak, pathetic girl. even when she plays "strong" roles, that weakness still comes across. she can't command scenes. maybe that affected the direction of this show and is why her fuyao is not as badass as the novel fuyao.

just started watching EP 1 and I have to say, Dylan Wang is way more suited to play a villain-type character. I can't get behind his acting in dramas where he is supposed to be more "pure" like Miss the Dragon and Ever Night 2. LBFAD and Meteor Garden are well suited roles.
