Who else has been rewatching the teaser for episode 34 😭

Dylan is completely at his element in this drama. I can’t imagine another actor playing this role. It’s good to know he is versatile and can handle comedy and serious roles. He just needs to keep picking good projects and his career will keep soaring really high.

I feel this drama would have reached 30k heat index much earlier if there wasn’t a hate campaign going on at release. It was like everyone was just nitpicking so much, I even got curious and started the drama to see what the fuss was all about and ended up falling in love with it. Even on mdl, the ratings keep fluctuating.

I think it’s great that Huaiqing is allowed to develop her character independently without a love interest, especially if the spoilers are true and she will be the empress in the future.

Besides Xu Qian and Lin An are literally similar in character, which is why they clicked. I can’t imagine Huaiqing being as carefree as Lin An to pursue Xu Qian openly.

In other Cdramas, Huaiqing’s character will probably be the female lead, but I like that they did it differently in this one. One thing with Lin An is that she is aware of her short comings, but it doesn’t prevent her from doing what she wants to do, Not all princesses will have Huaiqing’s demeanour and that’s okay. Besides Xu Qian likes Lin An the way she is.

I actually don’t think the Tianyu dharma pressure affected the palace. The pressure seemed to make people kneel, and if it affected the emperor causing him to kneel, that would be an automatic cause for war. Also, in episode 30, the guards guarding the palace weren’t affected by the pressure, till one of the tianyu monks caused them to kneel before the supervisor intervened and teleported him to the bureau.

For the drama, Its possible season 2 is already filmed. From what I heard, the novel this was adapted from is really long, and if this drama is supposed to mirror JOL, it can’t end in one season. But let’s see how it goes.

Yes I have to applaud the drama for this. It has been non stop comedy and action from start to finish, no dull moment.

They are in love right now but it’s really slow burn, which is understandable considering their difference in status. However, the fl is more straightforward and proactive. I find their chemistry really sweet.

I don’t know if I will pity her but it depends on how the screen writer crafts her character development. Like
now, girlie is really on her way to sacrifice 999 lives of each race to the evil insect. She is so evil but I guess it will make the angst that is coming later on more intense.

I think she will probably try to redeem herself by sacrificing her life to save Bai Shuo or Chong Zhao. She has really tortured these two and even killed her father in cold blood among other evil, there is no coming back from that.

lol..Chong Zhao and Bai Shuo are not compatible in any way. Even if she didn’t fall in love with fan yue, and her father didn’t die, I don’t think they would have gotten married.

I can’t wait for episode 34 😭. DW and TXW need to act together in another drama where they both have lots of screen time. Their chemistry is really good.

It’s amazing this drama hasn’t slowed down at all, and it’s remaining 10 episodes. One of the best cdramas I’ve watched. The world building and story is so good!

Lin An encouraging her man to fight is the cutest thing I’ve seen today. She is really preparing him to eventually marry her. That’s my proactive girl. They suit each other so much. Xu Qian can be a bit oblivious sometimes, while Lin An is very straightforward, if she didn’t spell it out to him plainly, he wouldn’t have thought his reward through. I really love their chemistry so much.

Yes she most likely is. But she doesn’t have memories of her past.

I just tolerate her because when she gets her memories back, the pain she will feel will be 100x worse than what she is putting Bai Shuo through.

Ugh I’m at episode 13, when is this amnesia plotline ending? Fu Ling of all people trapping Fan Yue, who her master cannot even defeat is a fucking joke. Idk why they have to nerf the ML for a romantic plotline to advance.

Simu and Xinnian have been parading the streets of dafeng because they don’t want to let go of each other. They are too cute!🥰
