First episode introduces Xu Yan, a hardworking planner who devotes literally her entire energy into her job. She gets yell at, but still pushes through with a smile. I think this is quite relateable in today's society; I would've quit by the time that host yelled at me. LOLit also showcases a bit of her romance life with Hao Ming and how they got together. I think the editing is trying to speed up the audience to the present day with all the timeline skips. It was a bit confusing, honestly. The scene that stood out for me is the hospital scene when Hao Ming took care of Xu Yan and gave her a bandaid. The look Xu Yan gave him just shows that for the time time someone, other than her grandma, also cared for her. :( Xu Yan overall feels like she is constantly putting on a mask, a facade, to feel accepted by everyone. It shows she has suffered a lot mentally and emotionally to be able to put on this mask. Honestly, this is somewhat relatable as well especially when you're neglected as a child. I am looking forward to where this drama takes us!

This episode was a shocker, a secret was dropped before the heartbreaking scene just tugged at my heartstrings. Zhao Lu Si's acting was phenomenal as usual.
